Barrett Veterinary Practice

Dr. Barrett and her team are passionate about animals and great people. They always have been there to help in time of need with our animals. They have guided us through situations even on there own time. Highly advise them to anyone who is looking for good quality care for their animals.

They’re never available (always on horse visits, or somewhere else), and wasn’t available to care for that needed monitoring of my dog. While on really heavy medication she proscribed, so he later died while I rushed him back to a closed clinic (Simon was prescribed OxyContin among other drugs but no one was available to monitor him). We then had two other dogs that needed a vet care so for Seven we call and called leaving messages and no call back. He’s now gone! Now we have Peat an older dog needing help???? She had a stroke but is eating but isn’t herself, you guessed it we can’t get a hold of our vet. Peat pulled through no thanks the this clinic. We can’t seem get a hold of Beth or get a call back from the clinic, and we have a dog with an ear infection but try and get a quote?? 3 time we were to get a call regarding this but Beth is to busy to care. All in all, we’ll soon be getting a pup and I’ll be going elsewhere for an “available” vet. We’ve Lost 3 dogs because we just can’t get a hold of our vet or she’s too busy to give care, she prized herself on being our friend but never is available and getting to be very expensive friend. We didn’t leave a message yesterday regarding Peat because your practice wouldn’t get back as we didn’t get a call back regarding Seven. Plus you were to get back to us some time ago with the information on the surgery of monkey? Didn’t happen! Beth was a personal friend of ours and we could call you if we had an animal issue but now we don’t get a call back during or “off” hours? Clinic says they call me but didn’t call me “a couple of times”... You say you called me but may of called someone else. Always waiting for reply’s, call backs, bills come fast!! I have never received a call from you or your practice, are you calling the correct number? It’s amazing how fast you got back when we right a review and block you if it’s not the 5 stars in Facebook. Enough said!

This review is under my company's name, as not sure I have my own personal page to do so. Anyway, I take my dog to Dr. Barrett for behaviour training and she has been working with us on my very reactive anxious dog. Went to many trainers in the city before this and I really like Dr. Barrett's style the most. I would recommend her for behaviour training, as well as general vet services. Darryl Aarbo

Dr. Barrett is so great. She cares about what's best for the animal. The staff are all very pleasant as well. Price is right.

This place, the vets, and all the staff are wonderful! Our corgi had serious blood clotting complications from neuter surgery and he was so looked after - emergency surgery, overnight checks every hour, regular touch-bases with us, lots of love and care, plus compassionate flexibility on the bill due to our financial situation. Kevin is completely recovered! Many thanks. I highly recommend!
