We’ve been leaving our Archer with Second Home Pet resort since he was a puppy. We’ve had him in their care for a couple of days to three weeks. I have nothing but positive feeling towards this family owned pet resort! Lorna and her family and staff are amazing with your pets. You can truly feel that they are all animal lovers. The resort is clean, comfortable and fun. When ever we pick up Archer he’s so excited to see us but is also sad to leave! I would 110% recommend this pet resort to any pet owner that wants a place to leave their pet and have them treated as well as they are when they are home with you. We were just away for a three week vacation and had no worries that Archer was doing great! Thanks Second Home for always being amazing!

The ONLY place we take our two chihuahuas. They're pretty moody but they never seem stressed when we go to pick them up. Love that they can share a kennel and when I'm missing them extra, I can email Lorna and get updates and/or pictures of my dogs. We've left them with Second Home maybe 3+ times a year for the last few years and we would NEVER go anywhere else.

Definitely found a place where we can leave our dachshunds with, worry free. Our dachshunds came home happy, calm and obedient which was a big bonus. Thanks to all who take good care of our precious fur babies.

We recently had our Boxer at Second Home Pet Resort for an extended period of time and have nothing but positive feedback to give. We first did some trial days and she was always excited to return. She was given her meds and had zero breakout or issues upon returning home. She even gave the lady (sorry I cant recall her name)a quick lick before leaving on her extended visit. We also loved the Country feel. We were a bit hesitant in the beginning because of the 6pm bed time. But once we saw how exhausted she was from playing on her first visit, we knew she would be fine. Thanks again! We will definitely be returning.

Always had a great experience, even with our grouchy cockapoo!
