Great hands on pet store (except for hands on the fish 😉) My kids love coming here. To them this place is there mini zoo with all the exotic domesticated furry friends (I mean the animals).

The Staff are excellent. Easy to find what you need. Store is clean and so inviting and the animals are well taken care of. Always my #1 stop in Red Deer.

The staff is always friendly and work their hardest to help you as quickly as possible - they are always busy but most days you don't wait very long. The staff is also very helpful and quite knowledgeable about what they carry, but doesn't usually extend to pets that are outside of the "mainstream". Okay selection of food for my pet (snake) but not great; prices are better than all other retailers, although local breeders are still more robust in both options and prices. Their free club card (with phone number lookup) is a great savings, too. They also have a pet adoption center, so that is a good thing. Out of all local pet stores, they are by far my favorite and my go-to.
