I’ve been coming here for years. The vets here care, and it shows. They’re wonderful with my cat and have a gift. I like the new location! Good parking. :)

I was glad to have found this place for my late cat after trying out a few places around town. They were very nice and caring, and I never felt like they were trying to sell me extras and the prices were very fair. My cat was the love of my life and when it was time to put him to rest, I felt at least good about having this clinic do it. The doctor who conducted the procedure even cried too. And they sent me a card afterward signed my the whole staff.

I really want to like this vet as they are 5 minutes from my house. First, the receptionist, borderline rude. Everytime. In person, and on the phone. I know it's procedure but they have to do an exam Everytime. Even if it's been within a month. And it's at least $50. I've spent over $150 in 3 months just on exams. Just to get her shots. And just when I thought I was through all her vaccines... Let's schedule you in 2 weeks to start another round of God knows what. They like to send you home with things you didn't ask for. I feel pressured to buy everything. The most unpleasant experience. Only one vet teck out of the whole staff seemed like he genuinely cared about animals. I wish I could remember his name. He was bigger guy with a long beard. The rest just felt they were trying to get through a sale. I'd hate to bring Saorsie back there. Gonna try to go back to Vista pet hospital on cannon Rd.

Based on a friends recommendation we've been bringing our cat & dog (both age 10) to this clinic for the last few years. Make sure you know all of your pets vaccination dates and other pertinent pet care info. because the procedural system they use is broken. We were over vaccinated and it seems staff will not admit to a mistake or take ownership of said over vaccination in turn blaming it on the county delays, myself, and the previous veterinarian. One should know their pets vaccines, but a good vet calls before administering. Veterinarian prices/visits are not cheap, so one would expect better service and competent staff in the industry.

We have been taking our 11-year-old dog Henri to Peninsula Dog & Cat for 7 years since we adopted him. They have helped treat his ongoing allergies, a bowel obstruction and tumor removal from his leg. Not only have they shown great professionalism and care, but they give him lots of love and compassion. Whenever we are going to the vet, Henri gets really excited because he knows he's going to see all his friends there. I can't thank the wonderful staff enough for everything they have done for us.
