Big, bright reception area. Wonderful staff and vets. They explain everything and they all have a great way with dogs... and I am sure with all other pets too.

You will have a hard time finding an office fill of people that do as good a job caring for pets and their owners. From the first phone call to the appointment, they make you feel like family.

I've taken the newest members of my family (my 4.5 month old Saint Bernard and my 6 month old munchkin kitten) here exclusively until now. The casual vet, whose name I can't remember, was absolutely fantastic with my cat, very gentle and enthusiastic about taking care of him when he had this weird flaky skin on his neck, and administered his shots with no fuss at all. Dr. Hettle himself is a kind man and was very good to my animals, but he inaccurately diagnosed my 12 week old Saint Bernard with a defect on his left eyelid, which is impossible to say at that age because Saints more often than not outgrow these supposed defects. What made me decide to leave this vet is that they do not do surgeries on site, but use Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital for all surgeries and most testing. This vet cannot be classified as a Surgery as they state on their site, nor would I like my animals setting paw in Central Victoria Vet which is notorious for lack of sterilization and many pets of friends I know not coming out of there alive. Other than that, the rest of the staff were amazing and kind, but I would not recommend them for surgeries of any kind due to their partnership with Central Victoria.

We've been going to see Dr. Hettle, Suzie, and Trinity for close to twenty-five years now with our various cats and dogs. We used to live close by. Although we moved away and now live in Sidney, we still come down to Fairfield Pet Clinic. Dr. Hettle is unfailingly professional and friendly. If there's a problem, he'll give us the best advice and course of treatment. If we have to hear bad news, we want to hear it from him.
