Our two black labs (Thor and Loki) were coming up for their yearly shots. We had always been bring the to the Fraser Valley Animal Hospital.....but after the last visit set of shots they had...I was floored by the cost. For a set of shots and a checkup...the bill came to nearly $300. So when these sets of shots came up....the cost was nearly $600. Called down to Cedar Hills....cost wasn’t even $200. Plus the dogs got full check up head to tail. The Dr was awesome! Well worth the drive from Abbotsford to Surrey.

While I was waiting for my kittens to get their first check up I could hear some of the front staff talking. They were being very insensitive about someone who just put an animal down. Which really sucks because I just lost my cat in January. When I was leaving the front girl was nice. Would of been nice to talk with the vet more. But for the price I can't complain!

The front desk helpers leave something to be desired. They are very slow and some Times for get what they are doing. The cost for service is excellent. The care the vets give is very good. Front desk is where they lose the one star.

I have to say this place isn't the cleanest (as others have mentioned), BUT the vet is great and very nice. The prices are very reasonable which I greatly appreciate. Especially when accidents happen. Also, its open on Saturdays AND Sundays!

My little Peanut (aka dog!) wasn't feeling well after starting doggy daycare (sniffles, fever, etc.) so my mother and I brought him in to get checked out by Dr. Harbax Gill. This vet is very patient with my temperamental puppy, who sometimes tries to bite him. After a couple of visits with the same vet, my dog realized that the "scary man with a needle" is actually pretty nice and gentle! Dr. Gill even let us take home a few of the chewies that our dog loves (for free!). Also, the grooming side of this animal hospital is also very good. Yes, SOMETIMES it's loud and SOMETIMES it may smell a bit like wet dogs, but that's what you get when you come to an animal hospital! The groomers quickly grew to recognize us (and not just the cute dog) whenever we take him in to get his nails clipped or occasionally pay for him to get groomed. Our dog loves them so therefore, we do! They are very personable too, and remembered to get updates on a sick family member when it was mentioned during a visit to Cedar Hills Animal Hospital.
