It used to be great when the old veterinarian was there. But she sold it and Surrey Animal Hospital took it over.

This has been our vet for a few years and is under new ownership. New owners seem good.

Didnt know that my original vet sold the practice and no longer works there

I am torn with the service today! I called to take my pup in as an emergency as my other vet was not not in Sunday, the receptionist took my Information twice even after I filled out the form! The assistant had no idea what she was doing in taking the information down! While filling out the form I noticed at the desk their special “ free vet check up “ and “50 percent off any vaccinations.” After having my pup checked up, I was told I needed a cone for my lil girl and meds.... A 7.5 cone was presented which looked like it was not the right size, the assistant went to get the next size up, only to find out they didn’t have one, the small one was sold to me as the right size! I hAd to come home to make an extention for it😡 Finally, I was told by the assistant I was done after the doctor disappeared to take a phone call, I was standing in the room for a few minutes wondering where she was? No good byes or making an efforts to say we were finished..... I stood there wondering where everyone went! Even the assistant who I could hear in the reception area taking another client. At the desk I was ready to pay the bill.... I was told the amount and promptly advised the assistant that there was an error in the billing.... I was being charged for the free check up! She kinda looked puzzled and walked away to check with the vet. She came back at said “ oh the sign means free check up with vaccines, I said no clearly it says free check up and 50 percent off vaccines! She said the sign was wrong! I got upset and said that it clearly says that checkups are free.... she proceeded to deny the ill written unprofessional sign taped to the desk and charged me! I will not go back to this clinic! I felt the vet was rushed and took phone calls while she was with us, and I had to ask that she should check if my baby needed other checkup, she didn’t look at my girls ears, mouth etc as part of a normal checkup . it was not a checkup and charged “ checkup fees” !!!!! I won’t be going back here anytime soon! I will wait after the weekend to see my original vet! Who spends the time for a “real check up”! And not get distracted with phone calls etc. Oh and the assistant didn’t even hand over my receipt, had to go back in to get it, the way she tore the reciept from the book was butchered! Top of the receipt was missing some information! Horrible!!!!!

We moved to guilford area 6 months ago so we decided to take our cat here since it’s so close.Today we found out that Pacific Animal hospital abrubtly closed and are being taken over by the owner of Surrey Animal Hospital which is the worst hospital ever. We were with Pacific for only 6 months. We now have to find a new vet last minute and our 15 year old cat is out of medication. We picked up her medication from this hospital 1 month ago and they didnt bother to let us know they were closing.
