Rave to Blue Barn in Castlegar! Always amazing service! We went in yesterday to get a fish and my regular brand of cat food, which has now been discontinued. I believe her name was Melissa, she was super friendly and helpful with matching up other brands that had similar ingredients and such. I really appreciate product knowledge when I want to purchase something and all the staff at Blue Barn are extremely knowledgeable. Oh... The New Beta is awesome too!

I love this store. I am not a local to here but everytime I am in town vising family I make a point to come here. Huge selection and the entire place is very well kept. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly. All around great pet store! And I love that they serve everything from farm aninals to household pets and critters.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff...Thanks to Tim my 5 year old 'Oscar' survived a very serious fungal disease. Absolutely the best one stop shop for all your pets needs. Not just the best 'dog and cat' supplies place but for almost every other pet you might have they can meet your needs. Love this place.

Dedicated staff who are truly interested in providing the best level of care while in the store, and helping patrons provide the same at home for their animals. They ask lots of questions to help ensure the best fit.

Knowledgeable staff, very friendly and willing to order if they don't have what you need! Truly care about the pets they sell. Best pet store in town and a one stop shop for pond, small and large pets. And they offer nail trimming! Check out this locally owned/operated store!
