Need a break? Nic’s has a flavorful selection of teas and coffees, homemade food and Wall of books to sit down with. What a warm and cozy place to enjoy your company or just sit and chat with the locals. You will leave this family run cafe with a smile.

LOVELY friendly warm and generous proprietors with excellent teas, several coffee choices, charming small town service and a surprisingly varied selection of books - new and used. We could not have felt more welcome and it was quiet enough to have a lengthy in-depth chat. I would return to this cosy eclectic tiny shop in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

A fine local coffee shop and also uniquely offering a good selection of books for sale. The new owner is charming along with her husband, friendly welcoming service. The location is conveniently located directly across from the parking for those waiting on the BC Ferry to Thetis and Penalukut Islands.

Comfortable, family owned, down home welcoming feel! The food is awesome!! If you are anywhere near Chemainus you must stop here for the best tasting lunch you'll ever have. Customer after customer was greeted by their first names and treated like they should be...I can see why this place is so popular!

Love this little cafe. So warm, friendly and inviting. You NEED to check out their tea selection - and book collection! There's a reason this is a local favorite. Well worth the stop!
