This vet office has been most considerate of myself and my dogs. They are kind, realistic and there when you need them. I have recommended them to others and will continue to take my dogs to Dr Simon. He really listens to you and respects your level of knowledge. Dr. Simon has cared for 5 of my dogs over the last 10 years. Thank you to Dr Simon and his staff.

Dr. Simon is a dedicated and heartfelt vet. Having used other vets in the area he does not try to up-sell services or unnecessary medications. He has treated our pets for over a year after we were discouraged and disheartened by several local vets who seem to live on up-sellling and tests that they have to send away. Dr. Simon and his staff do most everything in-house which leads to faster diagnosis and treatment. This type of vet hospital is unfortunately becoming fewer and far between. Oh and he still takes emergency calls. Try that with your vet.

First time at this office was when my male dog Toosie got ill in early Dec. He was checked and diagnosed and given meds and on the mend within 48 hrs. Dr is very knowledgable and very kind to the patient. Taken back for dental work this week and am more than pleased with the results. thanks to all the staff too

I just had my kitty in for a simple blood test to check her thyroid; I’ll never return. We sat in the exam room for 10 minutes waiting for the vet, this is after taking her out of the comfort of her carrier to weigh her, which was just enough time to get my kitty all worked up about being there. They took blood from her neck which is normal, but didn’t shave her fur but did soak it on alcohol. I mean soak it. She’s a long haired cat so even after I cleaned it at home, she’ll still be licking a lot of it off herself (so puking is in her future). They didn’t hold her neck up long enough, allowing her to put her head down while the needle was still in. I came home in tears.

I was recommended to Dr.Simon by a friend and I am very pleased with the care he and his wonderful staff have given my two little boys Buddy and Ben. They have even seen my dogs on very short notice and have booked me to see Dr.Simon whenever my dogs need immediate attention. The hospital is very clean and proffesional. I highly recommend Parksville Animal Hospital for great care for your lovely pets. Cheers
