I have been going to this vet for 15+ years with multiple family pets. A long while ago they had a variety of vets who were amazing and caring. Their other staff have been great and friendly. However more recently I have found since having my first dog on my own the level of care from Dr. Gibson specifically has declined. Our chocolate lab is an English style lab so her build is shorter and stockier however for 11 years old she is still running and energetic, totally in shape, but every time I take her in for a check up I am shamed for 'over feeding' her when for the last five years she has followed the amount of food they originally suggested. She is happy and healthy which should be the ultimate priority. As for my puppy, who is now 1, she is a collie mix which are notoriously smart and anxious. Dr. Gibson's first instinct when dealing with her anxiety is to not engage with her and medicate her instead. As a responsible dog-owner I have worked with multiple trainers, including a behaviorist, who all say that she responds to positive energy, not fear. Again when sharing this with Dr. Gibson she refuses to listen to me and instead lectures me and I leave feeling like a terrible owner. My dogs are my life and they are treated extremely well and I don't appreciate feeling anything but. I have chosen to switch vets for this reason which breaks my heart because we are all known here and our beloved black lab passed away in one of their rooms but I can't subject the fur babies we have now to this negative environment any longer.

This place is a total joke. Their prices are three times the rates of other vets in the area. My senior dog has suffered from allergies his entire life and they kept pushing blood tests, scans, etc. After spending almost $1000 for visits, antibioitics, shampoos, etc. nothing changed. He's a senior dog for godsakes. They also wanted to charge me $350 for a basic neuter for my puppy. I got it done for $105. 34 at 186 Street Vet Clinic.

Took my cats into this hospital for shots and they NEVER informed me about charging me an examination fee. I didn't know until I had to pay and I was wondering why it was so expensive. I wouldn't recommend going to this hospital.

Dr. Gibson is an excellent veterinarian. She understands our dogs and gives very good advice and treatment. I recommend her frequently and drive all the way out to Langley to be sure our dogs have the best veterinary care.

awesome staff! Although I figure they do some unnecessary examinations and charge money. Other than that, they have great staffs and Dr. Gibson is by far the greatest vet I have met.
