They're so helpful and treated my baby well when she went for a spay appointment. However, I did find the sales tactic a little bit aggressive. Though, overall recommended.

My Shiba-Inu Barbie is a patient at Oak Animal Hospital. I love how responsive they are, their hours are great and Dr. Ong is such a caring doctor and great communicator. She always calls to check up on Barbie. I recently took Barbie to another vet after moving an hour away from Vancouver but I won't make that mistake again. After the other vet couldn't figure out what was wrong, I trusted my gut and brought Barbie back to Oak Animal Hospital and to Dr. Ong who figured out the problem right away and got Barbie on a treatment plan. I trust my fur baby with Oak Animal Hospital and I'm very grateful to have a vet that cares so much about my best friend. Expert care combined with compassion is a great combo. I also really appreciate how clearly Dr. Ong explains her decisions, your pet's condition and possible treatment options. Highly recommend Dr. Ong and Oak Animal Hospital - Caroline (and Barbie).

This used to be a very busy sometimes hectic hospital. They opened a new 24hr hospital nearby, which any Oak client can access seamlessly. This has had the pleasant effect of reducing wait times and the number of people in the waiting room. Vet is great, really cared about my cat, keeping the experience as calm as possible.

Phoned to see if they could help our guinea pig and they made appointment for next day which was great. Doctor was very helpful, understanding, accomodating, gentle and pleasant to deal with. He even did research before we showed up as guinea pigs are a less common pet they deal with. Would not hesitate to return.

Found a mass on my cats leg, worried I called to make an appointment and got one the next day. They did routine exam and took a sample. They didn't push extra shots or medication and told me it would take a week to get back the results of the sample. Few days later they called me to let me know it was just a fat cell that expanded, not tumorous and that it wasn't impacting the health of my cat. (Also I got lost on my way and ended up being late!! They're super forgiving haha) Came back in a few weeks to get some shots done. They're incredibly friendly and passionate about my cats well being! Even explained everything in depth to help me understand better in what was going on. I'd recommend them any time. Also I didn't have to give up an organ for the bill!!
