One of the most gentle, patient and caring veterinary ever! Every staff member is awesome. Both my dogs love Dr Gerwal. I refer everyone I know here.

This is by far the best vet I've dealt with in town. Our cat is not a very small or friendly little beast. He's enough to make anybody back away. We've been to vets that have told us he's too much to deal with... they can't help us.. (you have to give him a double shot of sedation to even manage to give him his shots... and that alone is a battle...feisty little bugger!) Yet the vet here makes the whole process feel like no big deal. This is a place I am 100% happy to bring my pet. I know he is in good hands.

I would not consider taking my dog to any other vet in the corridor. Dr. Gruwal has always taken our emergency phone calls and responded accordingly.

I called Eagleview vet in town when my cat was extremely sick. They told me she may have an abdominal obstruction and might need emergency surgery. Right away I said okay let's do it and they told me "oh maybe give another vet a call." Like..what do you mean? You just told me my cat may be dying but you aren't willing to help her?! So I called alpenlofts and not only did he answer RIGHT away but he told me to meet him at the clinic right away. He saved my cats life. And the bill was extremely fair priced considering it was an emergency weekend call and she had to stay over night as well. I will never take my pets anywhere but Alpenlofts.

VERY impressed with Dr Grewal indeed. A while ago on a Sunday I was worried about my pet and he was the only vet to not only answer the telephone but also give good sound advice without insisting on an emergency call out (unlike others would for sure!) My next encounter with him was when I returned home last Thursday and suspected my cat had a UTI. Unfortunately, it was already after 6pm and all vets in Squamish had closed for the day. I rang, expecting a typical pre-recorded message and I was so relieved that he again answered right away and promptly returned to Alpenlofts so I could bring her in. The exam was thorough, he listened carefully to my description of symptoms and I left with antibiotics and confident with his diagnosis. I am a new customer yet he did not insist of a bunch of unnecessary tests nor did he add on any of the extra costs he could have very legitimately charged me that evening. My cat is doing great and even eating the flavoured antibiotics as she would do a treat. I highly recommend this honest, calm and ethical vet – thank you!
