Dr. Nicole was amazing! I was referred to this clinic because I wanted a Vet that took a more holistic approach. She listened to all my concerns and carefully took their history into account along with my wishes for a more natural treatment. I was given multiple options and given the choice of which one to go with. Even though it was a bit more expensive than what I would usually pay for a Vet, I think it was well worth it in the end.

My dog had a severe allergic reaction to a bug bite yesterday that developed very quickly and started affecting her breathing. I drove into the vet pretty hysterical, and the girls at the front were so sweet and had someone come check her out even though everyone was on break at the time. She was treated very quickly and was back home by the end of the night. She’s completely fine now thanks to you guys! I can’t thank you enough!!

Have been bringing my furry family here now for 3 years. They take very good care of them and are ready to do as much or as little as you want. They do give very good recommendations but don't push unneeded medication or care. Enjoy their staff and their ability to be flexible for pets with special needs. Will continue to go here!! Thank you for everything!!

From the moment we stepped inside, we were made to feel welcome. The staff is great, and Dr. Cathy is one-in-a-billion! Our dogs are so incredibly important to us—they are family. Dr. Cathy listens and hears our concerns. We have never felt “rushed” or uneasy about treatment recommendations she has made. We very much appreciate that Dr. Cathy uses a holistic approach, as well as conventional medicine, and that she clearly explains benefits(and drawbacks) of everything. Dr. Cathy was very patient and gentle with Lola, and took the time to love on her and earn her trust before she attempted any super scary moves like looking in her ears. We will always recommend Dr Cathy and Lake Harriet Veterinary to anyone looking for a trusted clinic.

Lake Harriet Veterinary has the most caring and amazing staff. They took care of my sweet dog from puppyhood until her passing. She had many issues and they were there each step of the way. They took their time to answer questions. They referred out to other clinics when needed, they really are amazing. From the front desk to the technicians, to the doctors, everyone was friendly, helpful and caring. My pup and I saw almost every vet at Lake Harriet and we were impressed with each visit. If you are looking for a veterinary center that is wholistic and personal, one that will get to know you and your pet, this is the place to go.
