Apparently there is no sick call so if your pet is sick or injured no help. I was told to call again tomorrow but no appointment. My "pet" is my baby and when she is in pain I want her seen. I was told good luck and didn't care if I transferred care. Being seen at another office one that does care that she is in pain and is willing to see and treat. Made a big mistake in referring people before I saw what really happens when my baby gets sick. Pulling both of my babies and telling my friends the same. I'm huge on word of mouth so I promise I will tell anyone who will listen about my mistake.

Paws down the best very around. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our cat has urinary issues and other vets wanted to do surgery that would have cost $3,000+ went here they changed the cats diet and he had been fine ever since. Same thing with my cousins dog, had issues with losing fur was out on all kinds of medication all to which didn't work I sent her there and they again changed his food and the dogs fur grew back within a month and has never had another issue. They get to the root of the problem and fix it the healthier and easier way for both human and animal, they don't just throw expensive pills at you too pad their wallets.

We love SMVC! Dr Lynch and all the staff at Southern Maine Veterinary Care have been wonderful with our dogs. Dr Lynch takes his time with routine checkups, answers all my questions, and always makes sure to give our dog some love before he leaves the room. The rest of the staff have been attentive, kind, accommodating, and engaging. We had to put our elderly dog down a few years ago and they gave us all the time and space we needed. It was a traumatic process, but made easier knowing we were in the best hands. I would recommend SMVC to anyone, and am so thankful to have them available to our family!

We are consistently pleased with the quality care we receive for our dog, whether for his routine or unexpected needs. Dr. Lynch is an excellent diagnosticion. The staff is friendly, competent and professional.

I have been going to Southern Maine Veterinary for over 10 years. I'm always impressed by the straightforward answers and concern for the animals well being as well as quality of life.
