Like most folks, our dogs and cat are much loved family members to us. We are diligent in searching for and connecting with the best-quality pet care service providers in this region. We have trusted Dr. Smith and the staff at Main Street Vet with our pet's health care needs for many years. Dr. Smith is a very knowledgeable and skilled Vet. We are always treated with utmost care, respect, and professionalism. Again today, we needed help for our dog. We started the day worried and stressed. We called this morning and were scheduled immediately. As usual, Dr. Smith took his time, thoroughly examined our dog and clearly explained what's happening, and what our treatment options are. Thanks again, for your caring and professional approach!

We took our dog Lucy here because she smelled insanely bad. When we brought her in he said she just needed her anal glands expressed and she would be fine. The liquid came out a dark disgusting brown and could not possibly have smelt worse. We paid 35 bucks and that was that. We have since moved and she smelled again so we brought her to a new vet. This time the liquid was pale in color with a little blood but the vet immediately said it was infected and offered us medication. Now, 3 months later, we have found her anal gland is hard and will not express. Why is that? Scar tissue, because it was infected for so long. Because The Main Street Vet didn't know that regular anal glands excrete a pale yellow-brown liquid instead of something I can best describe as curdled chocolate milk. I encourage you to google how much it costs and the complications related to removing an anal gland before you decide to take your loved one to this terrible vet.

Today was my cat's first visit to Dr. Smith. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Dr. Smith was excellent with my cat and took the time to explain fully what medications were for and showed how to administer them. He gave me options for different price ranges of things if available. He also made me aware of helpful over-the -counter vitamins, etc., but there was no pressure to buy. I was very pleased with the service Isaac & I received today! So glad I made the choice to come here!

My dog had small lump of cancer removed from paw. Was told the results would come in and if important they would tell us. Never heard anything again. He charged me $1200 plus the medications. I took the paperwork to another vet who laughed at how crazy the charges were. My best friend was put to sleep a month later because he was full of Cancer. Full of it. Another $350 elsewhere that couple have avoided the unnecessary $1200 out of my bank account, a parent and student, and pain and suffering of my best friend. Go elsewhere. This is just another vet for money.

We have been bringing our labs to Dr. Smith for a few years. He always takes the time to answer our questions and address our concerns. He doesn't require an office visit to purchase flea and tick products and his prices are very reasonable compared to other clinics I have dealt with in the past. He always makes sure we are aware of our options and doesn't try to sell us any procedures that aren't necessary. Not to mention, he can clip our senior dogs nails in record time LOL. I recommend him to anyone who asks and will continue to do so.
