Same issue as Darin. We will not bring our dog back as the pea gravel in the blazing hot summer days burned our dog’s paws. Instead of calling us, as we could of made arrangements to have her picked up, they kept treating her with the same pink liquid for the next 2-3 days. End result was a dog that suffered for a good week before it healed and a hefty vet bill. Since then, we refuse to put our dog at any kennel that doesn’t have grass play areas.

They dilengently look after our senior dog when we have to go away. He has fun with his kennel friends and the staff genuinely care for the pets in their care.

Our Dog is well cared for here. She is nervous by nature and all our concerns are adressed. The staff is friendly and professional.

Not writing as a complaint so much as wanting to let other people know what we didn't. It was our dog's first time in a kennel. Playing hard and long on the pea gravel resulted in inflamed and red raw paws when we picked him up. We treated them with the pink liquid that they provided us with, but he has not left it alone, and eventually one paw became infected, so he is sore, swollen and limping. Of course it means a vet visit and likely anti-biotics. I called to let 4 Paws know about it, just to make them aware, and the owner was apologetic and sympathetic. The kennel itself seems clean, and staff is nice, but I probably won't bring my dog back there, unless they have a grassy outdoor area in the future. Just wanted to make other pet owners aware that the gravel can hurt some dogs' feet.
