This clinic does okay work; they're quite average and provide adequate care but that is not the problem. The issue is that they consistently overcharge and push medications or treatments that are much cheaper elsewhere. A procedure that they quoted "on the low end" for over $1400 was almost half at another clinic nearby, and my pet is happy regardless. I told them that I wouldn't be needing their tick/flea medication, since they charge 1.5x what it costed to buy online, and they were visibly upset like I had overstepped my bounds trying to save money. Do not take your pet here for extended care.

I brought my cat in because of suspected bladder problems and ended up with a bill of over $400 spread throughout multiple visits. My cat is anxious and hates the vet, they weren’t very accommodating and made me come back multiple times because the sedative medication they gave ‘wasn’t strong enough’. Eventually they ended up giving him an IV line to knock him out, and the tests turned out negative. The multiple visits created more stress for him instead of just getting the tests done on the first go. They love to try and sell you on extra medications and treatments for your pet, I felt like I was at a sales centre instead of a vet. I’ve been to a different vet before and after this incident and my cat has only needed to be sedated at this one location. I’m glad I’ve found a new vet since.

The vets are very friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to help us understand what was going on with our cat.

This Clinic is 100% in it to milk you for as much money as possible. We had a cat with hyperthyroidism. After over one year on pills nothing changed. Dr slater now of 4paws. So avoid there as well. Never once told us about alternative radio isotope therapy that would take care of the issue. After to long the cat got sick with other cancer and it’ was pointless to get the treatment that could have extended her life and well being. DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC OR ANYTHING DR EMMA SLATER IS INVOLVED IN.

The team here is truly fantastic. Even something seemingly as simple as a vet visit can become a challenge with a reactive dog like mine. However, the team here never fails to welcome my dog with open arms, smiles and rubs and make (sometimes odd) concessions to get her in and out as painlessly as possible. They are truly professional and show great care in every interaction. The vets anewer every question, provide thorough explanations and always provide excellent care - I've never felt rushed out of there.
