Our 15 year old, sick cat Riley took a turn for the worse on a Saturday in March, and by the Sunday we knew we couldn't wait, we had to end his suffering. I called ahead and explained the situation as best I could through my tears, and the receptionist was very understanding and reassured me that they would be able to store his remains if we were not able to take him home for burial right away. When we arrived, the parking lot was full, but we were given a room right away. Dr Karen Keizer was incredible. We were given options, but no pressure. We were again reassured that we were doing the right thing. She was as gentle with us as she was with our poor boy. No one ever wants to need the services provided by these wonderful people, but I will forever be grateful that they are there, 24/7.

Nice people. Terrible waiting arrangements. Three hour wait. 1 hour in a small room. Slow as molasses. Unfortunately no other options. Basically just dropped a mortgage payment for routine Lab. Better to wait for your regular vet if you can.

They where great with our dog. Waiting to get results and talk to a vet was a little slow but given they have emergency cases walking in it is understandable. Our dog had to stay for 2 night. Yes it is expensive and probably more so than your regular vet clinic (for sure the exam fee) but realistically you’re coming here because it’s an emergency and this is the only option so because they offer after hours service it will cost more. If it isn’t an emergency then wait to go to your regular vet if you’re cost conscious, but they are absolutely amazing given an emergency situation.

These people are great! My wife and I brought in an injured bird who was having difficulty flying. We brought the bird to the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic, they gave me a slip of paper where I can check on the little fella in a while after he is on the mend. If he can't be nursed back to health he will be staying at a rescue for the rest of his life. The care and support of staff at the clinic is second to none. So glad to have this clinic in my city.

A warm and kind staff, well-known for working with local non-profit Hope for Wildlife, and caring for all sorts of animals. Professional and knowledgeable. Worth your time and business.
