I wanted to say thank you to all of the staff who took care of my beloved cat, Maple. A few weeks ago, I came home from my very first day at my new job, and saw that her eye was swollen nearly shut. Metro staff saw her that night and prescribed her eye drops. She did not enjoy receiving the eye drops, but thankfully, her eye cleared up completely, and she is no longer in pain. Every single staff member who dealt with us that evening was so kind and loved Maple! So, I wanted to let the staff know that she's well and that their kindness was appreciated ☺️

The staff at this place don’t take life threatening situations seriously at all! My roommate’s cat is currently stuck with a suspected bladder blockage because the circus at this location refused to adequately treat their cat despite being told to come in and that this was an emergency, after a 1.5 hour drive. Not only that but the conditions inside were pretty awful — emergency surgeries on dogs should not be visible to passersby. Places like this remain open because there was no other place to go to at 1am. They wanted to go else where but this was their last option and at this point, I think they wish they would have saved their time and gas money and the unnecessary strain on their cat who is already currently suffering. Do not take your pet here if you want them to be treated well during an emergency. They now have to wait until their regular vet is open to get their cat treated. I will never in my life be taking any animal I own to this clinic. A cat that weighs 22lbs should not be held from under their arms out from the staff’s body, if you don’t want to hold a cat maybe don’t work at a vets office. He was doused in rubbing alcohol and the staff were okay with letting him lick it off of himself, my roommate had to request a cone for the cat so he wouldn’t get sick from the alcohol. If this cat dies it’s because he was taken to a clinic, this clinic, and refused adequate treatment despite being told to come in and had to wait until his regular vet was open. Should be called Metro Animal Funeral Clinic.

THANK YOUI am so grateful for the kind doctor that treated my Shi Tzu Doggy. She immediately gave something to Doggy to calm him, did an exam, then said she would operate immediately. I had been to several facilities, so was so thankful that she would help him. He was happy happy when he appeared…now a calm and different dog..no more screams or crying. He at home, pranced up and down the deck with his cone on, bobbling it…and amused so many when we were eventually out…. He seemed to think it his new toy…busy licking it too as he relaxed. And yes he could drink with it and eat and sniff…as the Doctor assured me. He touched me with it when he wanted to get my attention. Also bonking the ground when trying to sniff but seemed to enjoy all… He was pronounced healthy by our vet.

We are extremely grateful for the wonderful care and support we received after rushing our Golden in last night. The entire staff was compassionate, attentive, and incredibly supportive during a stressful time. Thank you again for taking such great care of our boy. 💛

Absolutely amazing!! After waiting over 2 hours at another emergency vet, I called Metro and was told to come right over. The staff were incredibly compassionate & caring! && the price was sooo fair. Hopefully we won’t have to go back, but they will definitely be my first call if another emergency ever presents itself. Thankyou ladies! ♥️
