Absolutely disgusting experience with this vet, my 5 year old cat ended up passing away! We took him to the vet cause he was not eating and having liver problems and was yellow all over! We got there after being told he was going to need to be hospitalized we agreed to it and paid 635 dollars to vetcetra and 600 to metro emergency. He had no diagnosis but dr Emma suspected (Fatty Liver) we were told it was treatable, after having dr Emma continuously avoid my question of if he was going to survive or not, she kept refusing to answer saying its treatable. The next day we get a call saying we have to spend another 500 dollars on him to stay with vetcetra all day cause he was still sick, we agreed! So after spending close to 1800 dollars, he isnt even getting better at all and in worse shape then he left in. He's howling and crying in pain won't come out of hiding. We followed every thing exactly as told and still he ended up passing away. So we took him to a emerg vet a different one and found out he was misdiagnosed and had kidney and liver failure and cancer and was going to die anyways. So we spend almost 2000 dollars to find out our cat was going to die! All because vetcetra didn't do their job as a veterinarian to help our cat and a week later we lost him! Never going back to this vet again.

My dog actually enjoys going to the vets! The staff make such a fuss of him 😃

All of the staff at Vetcetera is very welcoming. I believe that they have fostered the perfect balance between friendly and professional. Going into the office isn't like going into any other vet that my family has seen. I was thrilled with my first experience at Vetcetera, and have never been disappointed since. I especially appreciate how much time Dr. Emma is willing to spend with each pet (and their owners). I always have a lot of questions, but she is happy to answer them, and does so in a supportive, humorous, and informative fashion. It's also very helpful that the staff encourages owners to call with questions or concerns. I appreciate all of their advice, and the time and energy they spend on their clients. I've recommended Vetcetera to my close friends (with great results), and I highly recommend them to anyone currently without a vet, or anyone who is feeling uncomfortable with their present veterinarian. You and your pet will both be well cared for.

I had a very different experience at Vetcetera. My dog is a rescue and has only one eye. I got home at around 4:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon in the fall to find that his eye was really red with a lot of discharge. I tried to take him to my vet but the doctors had already left for the day. So, I tried to take him to Vetcetera. First, I didn't realize that the front door is actually the door to the surgery area and I walked right in (it wasn't locked). A vet was there speaking with the owners of an animal who obviously was receiving care. The vet politely but firmly told me I was in the wrong place and to go to the side door. I felt very awkward about that the whole thing and found myself apologizing and backing out. I went around to the side door. When I entered, there was a very charming man leaning against the counter talking to the vet technician about his cat. They were having a long and very friendly conversation. I stood and listened and listened and listened. When she finally asked if I had an appointment I said no and I tried to explain what was happening but she did not appear to be interested in my dogs plight. She told me she would be with me shortly and continued her conversation with the charming man. When I started to get impatient she told me that if it was an emergency I could take him to the Emergency Clinic, which I did.

I've tried out many vets in the city and this was my final stop. The people here really care for your pets well being. My dog Ico doesn't get scared to come here because they're all so nice, he's always got a tail wagging coming in!
