Fort not open on Sunday. You can walk around the grounds and read the plaques put up to read but was disappointment. Also disappointing that the beautiful view is almost totally over grown by trees now. Too bad things couldn’t of been trimmed out or back over the years. Was a beautiful sunny day we were there.

Great walking trail for three-season use (no winter maintenance). The Fort itself is a must-see for anyone interested in military history or in the history of Hants County. It's only open seasonally but provides an interpreter within the Fort in the summer. They occasionally host events too. The grounds are open year-round, and although I wouldn't want to try to get a wheelchair around the short loop trail, a good stroller can usually make a go of it unless it's been very wet.

Wonderful place to feel the history of military practices, and visually see how times have changed since the fort was built in 1750.

A great place to runaround the hills with your kids. Lots of space, few people. It would be better if we could see inside the fort and see the view that the soldiers saw from the top of the tower.

Kept in decent condition, it's a small park but good if you'd like to go for a 15-20 minute walk. Some of the historical fact plaques have been damaged and can't be read, but if you go when there is a guided tour a lot can be learned about the area.
