I am mostly happy with this place, but my last few visits I've had some issues. Pros: Both the vets I've seen recently were quite nice! Unfortunately I've forgotten their names, but I had to go to put down an elderly cat recently and everyone, including the generally less-than-spectacular front desk staff who do the initial exam before the vet comes in, handled it amazing. I was also in recently for a regular check up for another cat and the vet was quite nice and helpful Cons: The front desk staff are just not that good. They need some serious retraining. I have been given attitude, billed the wrong amount (this was taken care of weeks later), and most recently, one of them led us to the exam room and was going to clean the table. No worries, I'm holding my cat in my arms waiting. She tells me to put my cat on the scale. She then proceeds to start spraying the cleaner on the table, as my cat is put on the scale, meaning he is basically being sprayed. Unimpressed, I quickly remove him from the area, only for her to say "don't worry I'm not gonna spray the scale" which made me wonder, first of all, is the scale even clean, and second of all, what part of her brain told her it's okay to spray anything (especially a cleaning product, even though I'm sure they use some "natural" stuff there, don't even spray water near my cat please) literally an inch from my already nervous cat? It was wild and I didn't get an apology or even any acknowledgment that she messed up. Later on during the same appointment, my cat is taken to the basement for some blood work. One of the employees is carrying him back upstairs in her arms, he's clearly very uncomfortable/upset, yet she stops on the stairs to have a conversation with other employees. She has a firm grasp on him, but he's hanging there, upset, looking at me. She should have either handed him over to me (the crazy person saying "oh hi [cat's name], it's okay, I'm here") or put him down in the exam room then walked back to have the conversation. I think the issue here is that working with animals, every day, desensitizes you pretty quickly. You start seeing so many of them that you don't think of them the way the owners do. And that's understandable, but my cat is my baby and I refuse to just accept anything less than perfect treatment. So when I pay large sums of money and my cat is treated with any less respect than a human would be treated with, I am sorely unimpressed. Would I recommend this place? If you need a 24 hour vet or need a quick appointment, sure. If you can wait, no, I'd probably consider going elsewhere.

Thank you so much king Hopkins pet hospital for all the love, support and respect that you have given to me and my pets. Recently we had to go through tough times with our little furry family member who was deteriorating fast over the weekend and we knew it's time to make hard decision. We took him to KHPH. It was our first experience and we were very unfamiliar with the process. Front staff took the time to respect our privacy and made it a very smooth process for us. Vets were very attentive, they listen to us, gave us options. Did few tests, discussed the results and decided it's humane to euthanize at this point. We felt so much better after knowing what was wrong with our pet and said good bye with clear conscious and proper closure. Thank you very much King Hopkins pet hospital.

I took my cat Liam into the Pet Hospital last night. They were nothing but kind and compassionate. The vet on call last night, treated us so nicely and helped us make the difficult decision to put our Liam to sleep. People always remember how you make them feel and they made us feel important and that Liam was in good hands. Thank you King Hopkins pet hospital for giving us the opportunity to say goodbye to one of our family's pets in the most kind and respectful way - The Penedos

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I brought my 7 week old puppy to get checked and I was brought into the room and there was PISS on the table where the animals sit while getting checked out. 2nd there was cat hair ALL over the floor in the front where dogs and cats walk around.... and 3rd I had to wait half an hour for the 2 people that worked at the front to find label paper for my dogs medicine!!!!!! This place is terrible. Ladies at the front need more training also cleaning skills!!!! Do not recommend at all!!!

I took my 13 week old puppy here and had a fantastic experience. The place was clean and orderly, staff friendly and knowledgeable Dr. Morrison answered all of my questions and concerns. I felt like my dog is in very safe hands!
