Dr jim holmes is the best vet ever. I worked for him for 8 years and I see his knowledge his care and passion for the pets he treats. I would not take my pets to any other place. Oh Jim I am getting a new puppy this week. See you soon. Sincerely Anne iannarilli McLaughlin

We took our 2 1/2 month old Macaw, Mingo in this morning and we’re very happy with Dr. Holmes. He definitely knew what he was doing and the place was clean. I’m a worry wart with my baby and it really gave me a peace of mind bringing him into to Anderson Veterinary Clinic.

Took our dog here for a cut. When we got her back, they did not shave the area, and had stitched hair into the cut. The stitches were poorly put it, we could have done a better job ourselves. To top it off they gave us someone elses prescription(for a cat no less) and we went to another vet to get a new prescription. Needless to say, the other vet was horrified at the hack job they did. Just avoid. Anyone with half a brain could do better than them.

I took my cat to Anderson Vet. The dr. Seemed to think he had a cold or virus. He gave him an antibiotic shot. When he didn't get better he took blood. I never heard back from him about the blood results. Over the weekend my cat got a lot more sick. I called the dr and left a message. Unfortunately my cat didn't make through the weekend. However I have yet to hear back from the vet regarding my message or the blood results. He just doesn't seem to care at all. Very disappointed In his care. Will not be going back.

I brought my little schnauzer-terrier in with what I thought were impacted anal glands, as well as bumps on his back. The bumps were diagnosed as schnauzer blackheads, but this was the only part the vet got right.. He claimed to have expressed my dog's anal glands, however on the way home there was a leakage accident. I manually expressed them myself that night and they were still very full. A gland on one side appeared to not express properly so I brought him to the Whitby Animal Hospital less than a week later and received the correct diagnosis of anal sac adenocarcinoma, a form of very aggressive cancer. So for the less than 5 minutes I was at Anderson Vet Clinic my dog's anal glands were not expressed, his cancerous tumor was not diagnosed, and it cost me $113. Save yourself time and money and go to the Whitby Animal Hospital instead, it's just down the street at 3050 Garden street.
