I had a horrible experience with this hospital. I brought my dog in after he ingested something on our walk, which caused him to claps immediately. I was told by my vet to rush him into this hospital. He was taken in and had a few tests run on him and nothing came back clear as to why this happened. Every time (three times) the dr came into the room he had nothing good to say , nothing to reassure me that they were doing there best to help him, all i got was we just have to wait and see, and not knowing the issue the Dr. even stated that at this time its to early to Euthanize him !!! EUTHANIZE HIM !!!! why would that even be brought up. Finally i asked him to do another urine sample, being a nurse student i could tell that what my dog ingested completely sedated him, heart rate low, slow breaths. I suggested an injection be given for adrenaline, he said there was no harm in that and that he would give it. Lord and behold my dog responded to the injection, still saying nothing was found in my dogs urine...and also did not think it was necessary to do blood work!!! I was given an estimate for a deposit i needed to leave while he was there recovering, which was 1500.00 deposit, although he may not have to be there all night that was what was requested, but because of this emergency i just put my dog in the car and headed straight for help, not bringing a wallet with me. I was told that was fine and to give them a call once i reached home, before i even arrived home i was called asking for the deposit ..i advised i would b e home shortly and that i would call with the payment. I got home ( mind you i was at the hospital all day ) freshened up and received another call demanding payment i say please give me a minute i am literally just settling in. Finally I call them back offer the credit card info and was told my dog was ready to go home and to just bring the card in .I arrive clear the bill which was less then the deposit and take my dog home. I then received another call as i get into my house from the Dr. following up with me about my dog , still no clue what happened and why my dog was in critical condition, then asks me what happened with the deposit, and why someone had called me 2 times for the card info, well it was because i still had not made it home. The bill was paid for in full i am not sure why they would be called me after the bill was paid questioning why i didn't make it home fast enough. They are all about their money clearly, no compassion .

Took my cat in for an emergency after-hours. First and foremost, the level of care and expertise were well beyond any other experience I've had at a typical veterinary clinic. My cat was treated successfully, but even if the outcome had been different, I would have still been impressed by the knowledge and care provided. The team admitted my cat immediately and upon diagnosing the issue, the doctor spent a good amount of time taking me through all of the details and did a great job explaining and not making me feel rushed, even though I had many questions. Follow up calls and after-care support were treated similarly. Modern, clean and quiet facilities. Fair prices given the circumstances. Even provided a room for me to visit 1-on-1 with kitty during recovery! Would highly recommend!

I would 100% have to agree with the review as posted two weeks ago by a follow pet parent. My experience also was absolutely no less than horrible. horrific & cruel=unethical. the emergency doctor provided an estimate, basically stated that they deal with patients in a diabetic crisis All The Time. Front desk staff requested card info & a major $$$ deposit before leaving this place-advised us NOT to stay as the doctors are number 1 and our pet would be fine-she is in the best hands/care. later on I had called was placed on hold & the doctor eventually advised everything was going as planned, nice dog, stable...literally no less than 5 minutes later the same ER doctor called stating to rush to the clinic immediately. Given the weather, road lights out, ice storm it took about 45 minutes to reach this place-its really far if you live in the westend of Toronto-immediately we were put in a room & another ICU doctor comes in (never spoken with him before-& he declines having the ER doc come in). He states our dog is in distress, on oxygen & suffering from a PE. He states it could cost upwards of $8000 more dollars to try to treat. I request to see her as she was stable-no breathing issues upon bringing her to this hospital less than 12 hours ago. As soon as I went into the ICU, just two employees look at the doctor, me & then my pup. Her body was jerking & no eye movement-employee states "she was just alive a minute ago" , I am of course an emotion wreak -crying, reaching in the cage to comfort her, calling her name & I try to listen for a pulse. Vet states she is gone. my pup was not old, however, to those who read this-do NOT let vets promise you the sun, moon & stars before receiving a payment. Its a business that will prey on your emotions & care about your wallet not your pet. I strongly advise & Do NOT Recommend this emergency clinic -for the ICU & emergency doctors. At the end of the day, they took all of the deposit, demanded more money & my dog was dead.

The doc was very caring and nice, compassionate, kind. He asked right questions and explained everything carefully until I was nodded. The clinic was clean, spacious with free parking. Thank you.

The staff; from the receptionists, to the technicians to the doctors are nothing short of fabulous. Even though my little monkey is fearful of humans and can react aggressively, they treated her just like any other pet, with kindness and compassion with the ultimate goal of making her feel better and less stressed. The facility is beautiful and our ER experience was as efficient as it could have been. Thank you TVEH! 💜
