I had to bring my cat to the emergency vet after he had his leg removed (due to cancer) because there were issues and my regular vet was closed. I was in FULL panic mode and they were awesome! They called me a few times a day (even at night!!) to give me updates and to let me know what was needed to help him. They let me also visit which I think they don't normally do but as I said I was sick with worry. I didn't want my cat thinking I abandoned him. He went in there looking horrible and came out a new cat! I know they did everything they could for him and I will be forever grateful for all they did and how compassionate they were. I will never hesitate to go there again. Update: Dr. Adel was the vet on staff. He now has his own emerg clinic in Niagara Falls. I'll be going to him with any emergency.

I had to have my cat put down on very short notice and came here. I was blown away by how kind and compassionate everyone was and how well they took care of my cat during his last hours. They were very patient and gave me as much time as I needed to be able to say good bye. To have this type of service during such a difficult time really helped me to be able to get through everything.

Called ahead to let them know my ETA with an English Bulldog in respiratory distress. She got over excited and began having difficulties. I got to the facility no one was waiting, doors locked, left to hold a 70lb dog in distress. They wanted to keep her for 12 hours their focus was payment upfront, 1000 dollars to start. ( I get it they need their money) meanwhile I said is she calm? They said yes, I said is her her oxygen good? They said yes. I said well I’ll take her home and watch her. I pay the bill and they bring my baby out on a stretcher non responsive tongue blue hanging out of her mouth. I said I can’t take her home like this. I had a choice life support or put her down. She died a few min later. The worst thing I did is stop at this vet on my way to her vet. I stopped because it was closer and I wanted to help her. After all that they move into the what do you want to do with the body, what earn do you want etc. the staff was pleasant the Vet needs to work on his communication skills. I would have never allowed them to give her that medication if the only alternative was life support upon administration. I blame myself, wished I didn’t stop there.

I wish that I could give this place 0 stars. I brought my cat in, extremely scared for his life, and the doctor decided that it was time to put him down. I obviously left, as she had no idea of his history, and no motivation to find his history. The way she spoke to me was disguisting, speaking to me like I knew nothing, and acting like she was giving me the right options. I brought my cat to my actual vet this morning, and he informed me that I did the right thing not putting him down, as she knew nothing about my cat and did not believe what I was telling her. My cat is currently at home, getting better and this doctor wanted me to kill him. This place is terrible and does care AT ALL about your feelings or your pets health. DO NOT GO HERE, seriously use the Niagara Falls emergency clinic, they are professional and actually care.

I showed up in a panic today with my cat and no prior appointment. I had already been to see my Vet because my cat was breathing heavy and she had given my cat medication and I have a follow up appointment scheduled a week from now. My Vet had told me to keep an eye on my cat and to be on the look out for panting which means a cat is struggling to breathe. My cat had started panting and I freaked out and took him right to the clinic which is much closer to where I live. They took my cat and I into a room right away and they had him in the back for observation just as quickly. The Port Colborne Animal Hospital (excellent animal hospital by the way) is associated with the clinic so they were able to get the information from my earlier visit very quickly and only charged me for a follow up visit. They took great care of my cat while I was there and presented me with treatment options and the cost so I could make an informed decision. I thought all the staff were friendly and understanding of how frightening and stressful the situation was for me. I was greatful for their help and pleased with my experience.
