Great Vet! I am a new customer, called Saturday and was able to get my cats in on Monday after work (they had earlier appointments available the same day also). I had originally called Pytel since it is a little closer, but they are not accepting new clients and have almost a month wait for existing clients. The doctor and techs were great with my nervous and stressed cats.

Took my pets in for grooming and my youngest dog eye and his back toes was hurt doing the grooming. In addition to his private area receiving damage which I just noticed this pass Sunday because he was licking himself. I checked him and the skin is peeling. We miss the previous groomer Pat G. At this point I do not feel safe with taking my pets for grooming with her replacement. I am too afraid something else will happen just like last week. I am truly traumatized over my animal injuries. My heart is hurting over his traumatic experience. We have a follow-up appointment this week. Praying that my little guy will be ok.

I Haven't been impressed with the overall experience at Dunkle. It's always complete chaos when you are in the front desk/reception area. High phone traffic ringing constantly. Dunkle really needs a manager who recognizes that the current staff can't handle the volume of calls and attend to the clients effectively, or on a personal level. Perhaps a call center where the phones are answered & not ringing live. I don't know how many times a person standing in front of the staff talking, and the staff member has to answer the phone mid sentence. I am usually not greeted right away.On my most recent visit, after waiting about 5 minutes, I was asked who I had brought in & why?? And then I was informed that I didn't have an appointment. Explained that I did, in fact spoke with a staff member that am switching which dog that I would be bringing in. Had 2 separate appointments, 1 week apart. Then she said, you don't have any appointments scheduled. Showed her my confirmation email, and explained that when I called as usual, it was chaotic & was placed on hold several times during the call . I proceeded to ask her, if I have a confirmation email, doesn't that confirm that I have an appointment? She wouldn't address that., Aand just kept saying that I didn't and implying that I had been in error.🤔Again, showed her my appointment confirmation which I had responded with a Yes to confirm email for that day. She said, well if you want to wait, we'll work you into the schedule after seeing our "scheduled clients" 🤔 Again, I showed her that I am one of those "Scheduled clients" so why should I end waiting hours because of their errors? So I ended Rescheduling for both dogs the following week and letting her know how unhappy I was. So the following week, the day of the new appointment, I called the morning of, just to confirm, sure enough, the staff member said, we don't have any appointments scheduled for your dogs.🤔 Great damage control and customer satisfaction that I expressed to her. Yet again, I had to reschedule. I was preparing to go out of town for my daughter's wedding, so this just added stress into the mix and now I would have to end bringing both dogs in together, which was the entire reason I Scheduled 2 separate appointments 1 week apart, was to avoid doing this. It's stressful bringing in 2 larger dogs into the clinic because it's always packed with animals & people & constant phones ringing in the reception area. So needless to say, that my experience hasn't been good. It's very - impersonal- (adjective not influenced by, showing, or involving personal feelings) It's as if you're bothering them to even come in. They really don't remember my dog or myself or Scheduling any appointments for me. It's like a bad new patient experience every time.Prior to moving to this area, my dog absolutely loved her Vet and the staff. They actually would remember her and myself and our appointments! I Always had a excellent rapport with the staff and Vet at my previous Veterinarian's office. At Dunkle, my Dog doesn't love going and neither do I.

I wish i could give this place 5 stars. The female doctor who sees rats is absolutely amazing (i think her name is Dr. Warner). She's so good with animals and makes them feel really comfortable, she's super hands on and checks their teeth, eyes, ears, breathing and even skin elasticity every time! She has such a calm deaminor and i have a great deal of trust in her to always do what she feels is right. I also love her assistant and that they work side by side and that you can ecpect the same person every time. Now.... I really wish i could say the same for the male Dr who also sees rats (I think his name is Dr Wright)? He never has the same assistant and we have been shorted medicine and been charged way more than we should have going through him because they gave us 3 small increments of antiniotic instead of a larger size that would have been the same amount but less expensive. There were times I brought all 3 of my rats in and he didn't even bother laying a finger on them, just looked at them and sold us a bunch of really expensive medication. I took one of my rats in who was having trouble walking and he didn't even tough his leg, just said it could be be a number of things, like he didn't even move the leg around to see if it was physical vs an infection. Now my biggest issue with him is the fact that i feel he used my sick rat as some what of an experiment and caused him to die sooner than he should have, my rat had an infection and was getting better with antibiotics, i took him in to just get more antibiotics since he was alredy responding so well. This Dr had me cut the dose I was giving by more than half and gave me some really expensive eye ointment that was had antibiotics in it. After getting home and seeing how much the antibiotic dose was cut I felt like something wasn't right and that a mistake was made, I called and spoke to one of his vet tecs and asked her if the dose was wrong. She seemed like she though it wad wrong but asked him and he said it was right. I wish so bad i would have trusted my gut because days later my rat got really sick again and sure enough needed to be on a higher dose. He never really got better and died soon after and I really think if that unnecessary stress wasn't put on his body that he would have lived longer.

Today was my first visit there this afternoon with my cat Frank, all of the staff were very friendly. The veterinarian and her team of techs were very compassionate and were able to answer all of my questions and concerns with logical explanations and were extremely helpful. The establishment was very clean and well kept. All in all, a great experience.
