Thank you to the wonderful team at Oakland Veterinary Referral Services for helping save my cats life. The prices may seem high, but the level of care and expertise is well worth it. I could call any time, day or night, for an update on my pet. They have even followed up to check on my pet after we returned home. I would recommend them to any pet owner in a emergency situation.

Their Veterinary Care is technically second to none. Their patient management and organization have room for improvement. To get timely care for my dog I had to resort to being an aggressive advocate, not because of any lack of want on the part of both the highly skilled and professional veterinary and support staffs, but because they are so overwhelmed with other emergencies needing their attention, too. To sum up, I believe that OVRS provides the best possible care available in North Oakland County.

I am honestly so grateful for this office and the entire staff. I brought my dog Patty here because she needed emergency surgery and they were so knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. She had an emergency surgery a month prior in Lansing and this whole experience was like night and day compared to the other place. The other place was honestly a nightmare and I wish I had just gone here first. They saved my girl's life and I will always be thankful to them for that. Their office is very clean and their prices are very fair, especially considering all they do. They even mailed a get well card after Patty was discharged which I thought was very sweet and thoughtful of them. Thank you to the entire staff at OVRS!

It was a okay day in September of 2016.... I got picked up from school early..... And i just found out that Eleanor Grace my almost 1 year old kitten was having seizures..... My Family drove to Animal care hospital and the doctor thought she was "sneezing" ..... Couple of minutes driving i cried all the way i came here.... I really didn't want Ellie to die! She was my little girl...If she died she would have left a twin sister named Sophia Maria behind.... The doctors here saved my little kitten! The cost was too high, but they paid for half of the cost! I am so glad i came here! When i get a pet I am definitely coming here again! [UPDATE ON KITTENS]: Ellie is very healthy and Sophie and Ellie are almost 3 in November! Happy early bday Ellie And Sophia!!!!

My family and I are so grateful to the staff and Dr. Bauer. Our dog received excellent care for a very traumatic injury and is recovering great! I strongly recommend Oakland Veterinary hospital to all. The staff was extremely pleasant and it was after 12am! The follow up contact was appreciated and helpful. I believe they truly care for the whole family, more importantly my kids believe that too.
