This place is awful.

I took my dog there last night as I suspected she swallowed poison. I can’t believe that an emergency vet cannot induce vomiting until with talking to the aspca. They are an EMERGENCY VET!!! Everyone is so slow and they have no empathy. They told me they could not treat my dog for 8 hours, I thought she swallowed poison and I know there is a 4 hour window. I got more help calling the number on back of the package and inducing vomiting myself. I called the office to complain and the woman got defensive so that tells me all I need to know.

This place really does care about your pets!! My puppy was pregnant and still had more puppies in her belly and didn't birth another. 12 hours later week took her in. I explained to them i was on a budget and didn't have a lot of money. Unfortunately when the result came back came back and one puppy was twisted sideways which stop the puppies from coming out. My dog needed emergency C-Section, the cost at their facility was $3000 to $4000. It was a shocker because we love our dog and don't have that kind of money for the operation. After a few minutes of talking they suggested that a more affordable hospital to take her to, it was an hours away.. they called for me and asked price under $1000. Once we were done they didn't charge me the x-ray fee of $180 and the emergence visit of $80. They did sell me milk and a tiny bottle for the 3 puppies at home. For $6 bucks. Thanks to the staff that took care of us and cared about our pets, they really do care.

The vets here are amazing. I had to bring my cat in on the 4th of July in the evening. They had my cat within moments of walking through the door. I couldn't ask for better compassionate care from a group of wonderful people. Tho the cost is hard to swallow, it was worth it. My cat is improving everyday, thank you!

On Sunday my dog E-Oreo needed to be seen by a Veterinarian. So I took him to Affiliated in Allen Park. They were so very busy with some critical cases. We had to wait over 3 hours to be seen. I watched as animals came in and just like at a Human hospital emergency department patients were taken in according to severity. The staff was amazing!!! A dog hit by a car, multiple dogs who had been bitten by other dogs, and a dog who had to be carried in unable to walk. I did not mind the long wait to get my sweet boy looked at as his issue was not life threatening. If you ever need Emergency care for your animal this clinic is the best. Kind and compassionate staff and Even though my dog was a minor issue they treated us all with respect and concern just like the others. Many thanks to the Staff.

I highly recommend this clinic. I took my cat in on a busy Saturday night. They were busy but made the wait minimal (1.5 hours). My cat needed surgery pretty much immediately and they took her in. I just got her back and she's doing great. The staff was extremely caring and sympathetic to the situation. She was taken care of by Dr. Waymouth who was very transparent and honest. The cost is very reasonable, and they made sure to get my consent before doing anything that would cost me more. Understand that any emergency treatment for a pet is expensive, no matter where you go. I'm just thankful that they are so close to where I live. Just an additional note. I see a lot of reviews stating how long they waited while people were coming in and getting seen immediately. They function just like an emergency room for humans, if someone comes in with their face hanging off, they'll likely get seen before someone with a tummy ache... Good Work Affiliated!!

My boxer showed signs of bloat this morning just a few hours before our regular vet opened, I decided to take him to the emergency vet to be safe. I called on my way and told the receptionist my situation, when I arrived they were waiting for me with a quote for the recommended services. He was quickly taken back for an x-ray and I was able to talk with the vet within 10 minutes. Thankfully it was not bloat, the vet showed me his X-ray as well as an x ray of a dog with bloat and we talked about what other things may have caused his symptoms. The vet ensured me I did the right thing bringing him in and to keep an eye on him throughout the day to make sure he improves. The staff was friendly and helpful which made a world of difference while I was worried about my dog. My only complaint was the vet tech who saw my dog wasn’t very friendly and you could tell she was not pleased with my 1yr old boxers energy, I understand sometimes people have bad days and the vet and receptionist definitely made up for her less than chipper attitude with their kindness!
