We have been going to North Waterloo Vet Hospital for 10+ years and our service has been nothing short of amazing. The staff has always been warm and friendly with our animals, doing their best to make our very skittish dogs feel safe. We currently have 5 animals in our family that go there for regular yearly checkups. The doctors are fantastic with answering any/all questions. When our animals have had to stay for the day, we can call as many times as we need to check in on them and reception is always patient. When we lost our dog tragically, they were there with their doors open helping make arrangements. I highly recommend and encourage other families to take their pets there! They truly are amazing!

Doctor Fell is the veterinarian at the North Waterloo Veterinary Hospital, who treated my beloved 14-year-old “puppy” named Penny. Doctor Fell is very professional and obviously loves her chosen vocation. She has an excellent examination-table side manner and was very calming to both her canine and her human charges. When we welcome dogs into our lives, we do so in the knowledge that their life’s span is usually only a fraction of ours as human; and final tearful goodbyes are merely biding their time. This was not that time; but at 14 years, it could have been. I am particularly grateful for the amount of time Doctor Fell spent explaining options and possible scenarios in sufficient technical detail, but recognising and giving appropriate focus to being reassuring to the possible underlying human emotions involved. At the end of the visit, I asked Doctor Fell if she knew of her eponymous Nursery Rhyme. The Mother Goose version of that rhyme refers to a child being afraid of the doctor as she suspects something unpleasant is about to happen. Here it is: I do not like thee, Doctor Fell, The reason why – I cannot tell; But this I know, and know full well, I do not like thee, Doctor Fell. In retrospect, I realize that the ethos of the original piece was the opposite to our visit. So, Penny and I put our heads together to remedy that. We think this is more in line with our experience: I really like thee, Doctor Fell The reason why’s not hard to tell When I was sick, you made me well That’s why I like thee, Doctor Fell Keep up the good work,

Ollie has gone here since we got her. And she looks forward to her visits. Her care has been excellent. This is a proactive hospital . Very happy with everyone there. 😁

We have been loyal clients (well, our cats have been loyal clients) for many many years. The staff has been superb, sympathetic, proactive, and professional. We now live in Waterloo, but happily make the trip so our cat can get treated like royalty (which she is, of course).

We have been to other vets and never received the same level of care as we do at north Waterloo veterinary... they show so much care and are there to answer all of your questions. We have a very skittish rescue cat and they are so gentle and understanding and have even encouraged us to send follow up pictures since they know how unsettling it is for him to visit. Would recommend to everyone
