Harmony Road Animal hospital is a great clinic that helped me feel at ease about my kitty and her recent spay procedure. I was quite stressed and nervous (my kitty was not having a bowel movement a few days after the surgery & it was stretching over what would be normal) and they were extremely helpful. They prescribed laxatives and she was able to use the washroom as well as a lot of great advice! I was also concerned about her sutures a few different times throughout the healing process and sent them a few pictures to check of any infection and they were so sweet to review thoroughly and provide feedback, Mya and Erica were super sweet and helpful with their advice. Whenever I called, the staff was kind and patient, they asked the vet questions for me as well. They didn't push any unnecessary costs to me and were very reasonable with costs especially considering all of their extra support! Thank you so much team, Emi healed perfectly and is as healthy as ever, we appreciate the great job!

My Oriel was spayed last week. She also needed a hernia repaired. They were amazing to deal with, considering I was not as I was so stressed and worried, as she is so small other vets would not do it. I was assured the doctor would do it for me, as he is experienced in small animals. Their care before and after has impressed me. I give 6 out of 5. Also, I love the onesie better than the old collars, I had never seen these before.

Sugar was thoughtfully taken care of. They prepared her with blood work before her surgery for dental clean to be certain that she would not have negative risk. The doctor is simple and concerned about your feelings. I am happy with their service. Despite the surgery and the amount loss of teeth she has recovered well and is a hungry pet.

I have been a client since the opening of this clinic. I have brought new dogs into the clinic and had two of my babies put down. I see the vet on a pretty regular basis as I have a few pets. I asked for a refill on a prescription for ear drops, I received it without having to get a $65 exam done. There are further details, and I don’t blame the Dr. For not wanting to prescribe without seeing my dog again, but it was provided apparently “to get me out”. It is what happened after that bothers me. Dr. Pathman left a msg stating he wanted to speak to me and was very disappointed. I called, apparently I made one of the assistants cry and used foul language, none of which happened at all. I came into the office to speak to the on-call vet, whom I did not see, and sat waiting in the lobby. The assistant came out with the drops and I left. I will say that initially I was not pleased that they wanted me to have another exam done which is why I came into the office to speak to the vet. This is a chronic condition, and I was in the week prior and had spent $300. At any rate, there is protocol, but I didn’t think I was asking for anything other vets and human doctors have not done. When I spoke to Dr. Pathman I felt like he was speaking about someone else, I was shocked to hear this. The bottom line was that he would feel awkward seeing me again after the conversation we were having so I told him that was fine, and I would find a new vet. This entire situation seems absurd to me, six years, and then just dropped as a customer. Something is not right there. I am very disappointed in you Dr. Pathman. This is no way to treat a loyal customer who has never shown aggressive behaviour in six years, just gratitude.
