Absolutely wonderful. I am new to the area and was having a difficult time finding a vet that is experienced with Rabbits. I needed a last minute appointment as one of my rabbits started showing signs of an illness they booked us in and we saw Dr Johnson he was amazing to work with as well as his vet tech and front desk staff. I thought for sure with his extensive knowledge and the very large and modern clinic that it was going to cost a lot to habe my rabbit seen but it was a very standard rate he was very thorough with my Rabbit and we are on the mend with the antibiotics that we very inexpensive. I am so happy that I have found such a wonderful vet clinic.

Carling Animal Hospital is a medium-sized, wheelchair accessible hospital, with a very small parking lot. It is clean, with friendly and professional staff, such as Dr. Johnson and Dr. Auger. This is not, however, a walk-in care facility. One has to book an appointment to be seen by a doctor and, from my experience, this normally takes two or more days. For emergencies, the receptionist will refer you to VCA Canada Veterinary Hospital, at 900 Boyd Avenue. As my daughter has been to the Boyd location with her dog, I would highly recommend that all emergencies be taken to the Alta Vista Animal Hospital, where they have the best animal care, but at a higher cost. As most veterinary clinics and hospitals close between 6-7pm, I would like to see all veterinary clinics and hospitals with evening services until 9pm. This would allow working people the opportunity to take their pets there after regular working hours. I also think that a good veterinary hospital should have an additional doctor, to take care of animals without appointments.

Overall good experience. Staff is very friendly. My cats new vet Dr. Findlay seems very nice and knowledgable. A bit more expensive than other vets but overall I have been very happy.

I couldn't be more impressed with how they helped me with my pet mouse today. From start to finish they were professional and empathetic. The vet explained what was ailing her in depth, explaining it thoroughly. I would take any of my other pets here in a heartbeat. Thank you staff!

One of the best vet clinics I have visited. They continuously provide only the best care and options for my pets, and have shown nothing but professionalism when we visit. Would definitely recommend, they’ve always done a great job for me & family.
