We brought our dog there in an emergency. They were very responsive and did not charge us for a lot of unnecessary tests... only what we needed. The Vet was amazing and our dog is getting better each day. They accept most pet insurances and are open 24/7. We cancelled our “well visit” plan at the other place because they don’t do emergencies. We will just take our pets here from now on

Barton Heights Vet Hospital is an excellent place for regular visits and it is your GO-TO for emergency visits. The staff is highly qualified, prices are VERY affordable even if you don't have pet insurance. The vet did a very thorough exam, and proposed the best solution. Our dog is on the mend, and we are thrilled with the services provided. We will be using Barton Heights now for our regular visits as well.

It's really a shame I have to give you guys a star to be able to leave a review because you don't deserve any. You guys are responsible for my dog passing away. Because of your doctors negligence my dog died. No one gave him the correct treatment or even cared enough to try to save him. You had no problem taking our money but had a problem with proper treatment. I am early into my pregnancy and this has been nothing but stress and aggravation for me and I can promise you this won't be the last you hear from me! No one go to Barton Heights they will kill your pet! “Dr.” Wentz is not only rude but extremely arrogant and does not care about animals at all. The only time he seemed to care during our phone conversation was when I asked for his bosses phone number. He started to stutter and told us to get a lawyer if we aren’t happy with our service. Not once did he even apologize for our dog dying! Absolutely disgusting!

We were on our way back home (upstate NY) on 7/1/18 from a weekend family trip in East Stroudsburg, PA when our Doberman boy overheated from exceeded temperatures. Luckily, we were with family who live in the area, are current clients and recommended Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital. My cousin drove us immediately to this hospital within 15 minutes from Penn Estates. In such a chaotic and scary situation where every second is critical we called to give them a heads up that we were on our way. As we walked through the doors Elena told us to take him right to the back to get assistance. Andy and Lisa came to check vitals and called the entire team to assist my boy. We were then sent back to the front where we met Katie to process information and Elena was with the rest of the family comforting various emotions. I tell you the entire team scheduled this afternoon worked miracles and saved my boys life. We cannot thank them enough. I would also like to thank Celeste for the evening phone updates every time I called for current status. If you are within the area and are dealing with an emergency we highly recommend. All the best to each and every one of you. —The Kelly’s
