Best Veterinary Dermatologist in the Area

Dr. Sam Sadeghi and his team of vet techs have been taking care of my pets for over 7 years. I have not taken them to any one else as not only does dr.sam deal with the routine check ups and vaccines but he is a knowledgeable dermatology vet. I love it. Because my fur babies have developed severe food/environmental allergies, as they have gotten older, it's such a bonus to have a specialized vet to help flare ups and symptoms. Dr. Sam has helped me to better care for my pets with allergies and has helped me to be a better and more knowledgeable pet parent. Thank you Dr. Sam and Team!

May 30, 2019 had the worst experience with this pet hospital. Took yorkie terrier dog for a dental cleaning and told me that the veterinary doctor was going to be doing his cleaning procedure for my dog, but after the procedure, I find out that the veterinary doctor didn't did the cleaning, instead was a nurse. That is a deceiving people, telling clients one thing and doing something alse, totally different of what they promised. I find a very dangerous thing to do because people trust that will do right thing, and later, they find out that they didn't did what they promised to you.

Doctor Sam is a very knowledgeable, caring and amazing vet. He is the only person I trust 100% with my pets, I have been with Doctor Sam since 2011 and I bring both of my dogs to him for any issue no matter what it is. He gives his clients his personal number and answers anytime you call to address any concern you have about your pet. He has an amazing, caring and extremely hard working staff as well that do everything they can to make your pets comfortable and they show their care by making sure that your pets are as little stressed as possible at every visit! They also do their best to schedule you in as soon as possible and work with your schedule so that your pet can be taken care of! I have done all of my surgery needs at this clinic from spaying my girls to dentistries to minor surgeries for a random growth and Doctor Sam and his staff have always made sure my pets safety and well being were their number 1 priority! They’ve called me every time I’ve done any surgeries there to keep me updated on how my pets were doing and they even follow up days later to make sure my pets are doing well! All in all this is an amazing clinic and I would recommend them highly!

Seemed good at first, but when my cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, I wasn't made aware that it would mean she was on the way to getting kidney disease. I also wasn't told that she was being prescribed a human grade medication that I could get for half the price at a regular pharmacy. When she was diagnosed with kidney disease, a number of things were prescribed that she didn't really need and the proper dosages of things she did need weren't confirmed properly. The incorrect dose was printed multiple times on her thyroid medication (doubling the dose, when I knew that wasn't needed). I complained multiple times about her losing weight (more than half a pound) and they insisted on doing blood tests at my expense multiple times and then kept telling me nothing was wrong because they didn't bother doing a complete panel. I took her to another vet and they confirmed that her potassium dose was DOUBLE what it should have been and was directly responsible for her losing weight. Ignore the recommendations for unnecessary supplements and do NOT accept Thera-K for a cat -- it's not meant for cats! It even says so on the bottle! Do your research and find a good support group online that can give you advice on supplements that are truly helpful for your pet and take your pet to a vet who is actually experienced with kidney disease and won't pretend they know things and then give dangerously incorrect doses that could harm your pet. Also, your vet should never discourage you from buying supplements and medications elsewhere if that makes more financial sense for you. There are plenty of places you can get supplements as well as the fluid supplies (the lactated ringers and the needles) for less cost and better quality. Be wary of any vet who aggressively pushes "prescription" low protein food on your pet with kidney disease as well. It usually is not helpful and prescription is just the brand name! It doesn't really need a prescription. You're better off looking for higher quality protein and low phosphorous content instead, but this facility would rather push what they have from food companies because they get more money from it. They also decided that it was okay to charge a high fee to write a prescription for human grade medications like Tapazole that you can get from a regular pharmacist. When I complained, Dr. Sam laughed at me and said I shouldn't be complaining about a prescription fee because of the price of Starbucks coffee (which I don't even buy!). Thanks for letting me know you care more about the money than my pet's health. Won't ever bring another pet here. I'd much rather go to a facility where they are more knowledgeable and will do research on anything that they aren't as experienced with. Edit: in response to the lies from this facility -- you attempted to charge me for writing a prescription that I could take to a regular pharmacy. I had to argue with you to get that fee waived. I paid for every examination and a number of unnecessary pills including omega supplements that did nothing. You never looked at her vitamin B12 seriously. You also put her on the WRONG dose of potassium, which is dangerous. And you kept writing the instructions for tapazole incorrectly as if her dose needed to increase (for no reason at all). I took her care to another vet who worked with me to give Tabitha the best care and had far more knowledge than your team. Stop lying because you're embarrassed. You should never laugh at people for complaining of an unnecessary fee, it's extremely unprofessional and rude. I paid DOUBLE for the tapazole from you for years because you didn't care what it cost me and didn't bother to tell me I could get it from a human pharmacy. You're negligent and money-hungry. I hope you go out of business.
