Have been taking my puppy here ever since we got him. Their staff is great. Very helpful and informative. Love the vets. They take good care of my pupper.

Worst vet ever! Dr. Tim Zaharachuk is very unprofessional, has no class and doesn't trust his staff to deal with administrative issues. We paid for 3 pills of tick medication that is to be administered every 3 months. This medication is based on weight and my puppy was 5 months. They gave me 1 and said to come back to get the others and we will weigh him at that time. I pre-paid. We decided my puppy is too young for the medication and wanted a refund. Well they said they would only give us for the 1 because that's what we brought back, even though the receipt says 3. The doctor says they have all these 'balance and checks' in place. However, the bigger concern is that they don't know what drugs they are administering and no balance checks. Otherwise if they checked inventory they would know they were over because they didn't give me the medication. And if they did give me the medication, they would have gave me the wrong dose! As my puppy is growing and the medication is based on weight. Very unprofessional doctor. Causes a scene in front of other patients waiting. Everybody was uncomfortable. We decided to change vets, he keeps claiming it's because of the money, let me assure you we would pay triple his exaggerated prices for our dogs with the right clinic. It's the principle of it all. I do believe what goes around will come back around. We are the most honest people, but assure you in the future we will get everything in writing. Do not go here! Over rated! Plus, he treated my dog for either a bacterial or fungal infection, he didn't know what it was, and yet that wasn't even the proper diagnosis. The medication worked and as soon as we stopped taking it, it all came back. We took out dog to another vet, it's an allergy to the protein we were feeding him! We changed foods and he's fine. Do not go here!

This is our 4th cat with Dr Z and the crew at derrydale. Our first lived to be a happy health 19 and was with Dr Z his entire life. They are kind, caring and direct. They were able to make saying good bye to our furry friends easier, and with great compassion. They are now helping us with a rescue and she is 100 % improved from when we first brought her in a year ago. I have referred several friends and neighbours all of whom have had good solid service and support . The clinic also provides support services for seniors who may not always be in a position to afford care for a loved companion. Over the years we have grown to trust them and in the Rare case something has been out of the ordinary they have always done more than expected to correct the situation. Professional, caring and compassionate. Thx from Snappy, Oskar, Tsuji, and now Catrina.

I came here because I was recommended to go here for bunny care. The doctor was amazing with my super jumpy bunny and she was very kind and informative. She answered all of my questions and I genuinely felt like she cared about my pet. I would definitely come here again with any of my pets. 5 stars I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

A few years back I took my two little budgies here. Only thing was my vet I'm going to now is down the street vs 15km away. Dr. Z and his staff were amazing couldn't ask for anything more. His knowledge with animals is on point. I do wish I could have been much closer. But at least I know I have somewhere as a back up in case.
