Union Lake has cared for my cat for years. Recently he had aging issues. The doctors were very caring and considerate of my feelings. They gave me honest options. In the end, I decided to let him go. The hospital set me up in a very nice quiet room to say goodbye. Definitely a wonderful place that really cares for the pet and the owners. Highly recommend!

Well, I'm not a type of person that writes reviews on things. I have been going there since Ive had my puppy at 14 weeks. Great staff! Clean place! Great doctors! The other hand very stressful wanting to go back after all the times, I had to pay for just walking into the door to have things done. $78 dollars for poop testing. Crazy. I have saved every Receipt for day one. Looking and seeing the price on things is expensive. When anyone can get it cheaper from a dog stores. Price are crazy Ridiculously high.

Dr Hawker is fantastic, on the other hand the other staff is less than wonderful. This Veterinary Clinic prioritizes profits above necessity when it comes to caring for your animal. I have been taking my dog to this vet since he was a puppy and they even used him in their advertisements without my permission, so they are very familiar with him. We took him there for training classes and after he passed all the supervised classes which are more expensive, they released him to the open daycare. After his first session of open daycare in which they placed him with two other intact dogs while knowing he is intact, they stated that he would need another supervised session. The trainer told me that the other dogs back him into a corner and he barked at them and they would not leave him alone. In self defense he knocked them to the ground and ran away. She stated that this behavior was unacceptable and it would need to be corrected it through costlier supervised sessions despite the fact that their ineptitude was the root of the issue. When I took took him in because he had eaten a shoe they pushed blood work on me for $190 and stated that it was a highly recommended. When the blood work came back completely normal, the vet then stated that blood work was usually normal for puppies and she was not surprised. As a result of these exploitative practices, I will never again take my pet to this business.

I never write reviews, so just the fact that I'm doing it says a lot. We've been going to Union Lake Vet Hospital for over 2 years and we just recently got our 3rd dog. We had to go to a different vet for our puppy's initial check-up. I did not feel comfortable after leaving the first vet, so I made an appointment here for her because I trust Union Lake. Vet #1 told me that the missing patches of fur were nothing and I should just give the puppy a bath. Union Lake took the time to thoroughly check our baby, listen to my concerns, and take multiple scrapes. At the end, they found mites. Nothing dramatic, but I left knowing that my fur baby was alright and in good care. We've seen multiple doctors here and all of them are friendly and professional. You can tell that you're not just a paying customer to them, but your pet's health is as important to them as it is to you! They might be a little bit pricier than other vets in the area, but to me it's well worth it! Keep up the good work guys!

I have only used the grooming service here for my 3 dogs, but Amy is fantastic. Each time she has made the dogs look beautiful. Amy does what you ask - I don’t want the feathering cut, and so she only trims what is necessary. My large border collie/retriever mix gets matted fur, especially when she sheds, but she hates being groomed. Amy keeps her calm so she’s not stressed, only beautiful, when I collect her. This visit, my Australian cattle dog hadn’t properly started shedding yet, but was a puff of floating fur if you touched her. Amy successfully removed all her winter coat and now we can pet her and breathe at the same time! The staff are friendly and helpful. The grooming is done in a timely manner and for the quality of the grooming the prices are fair.
