I have very much appreciated working with Dr. Paula and the whole team at LVVS. They are knowledgeable, kind, and understanding and clearly care deeply for their animal patients. They have been very available to quickly get me in for appointments when needed, answer questions, explain options, and respect the decisions I make about the path of care for my dog as we worked through figuring how to treat a tumor she had. I decided to treat with herbal and alternative treatments first, which improved things for a while. After about 6 months, the growth progressed and I decided to have the surgery done. They provided excellent care and were in very good communication with me throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Dr. Paula and her team to others.

I have a 13 week old Golden Retriever who needed emergent care on a Sunday afternoon. When I called, the vet tech immediately offered to page the on call veterinarian. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door and taken right in to the room. Our puppy was thoroughly examined and treatment options were offered. We were not pressured in to anything and the veterinarian gave us her honest opinion. This is a great place and highly recommended if you are looking for good, affordable care and nice staff.

I have been taking my dogs to LVVS for almost a decade. The veterinarians and the entire staff are thorough, kind and caring. They treat my dogs well; gently and soothingly. The medical care is excellent, whether it's for a rash, a bee sting, a laceration, or something more serious, like a terminal disease. When my beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Sydney, was diagnosed with cancer at age 6, I was devastated. Dr. Jess, who made the diagnosis and provided most of the care until Sydney died several months later, was incredibly compassionate, as was the entire staff. No matter how many questions I have, the questions are answered thoroughly. I never feel rushed. It is rare to have to wait in the waiting room. Rather, we are taken into a consulting room almost immediately upon arrival. This is a sign of a well-managed practice; no overbooking. For those dogs that are nervous or reactive, this is especially important. I also like the fact that there are emergency hours. I have utilized this service a number of times. It is comforting to know that no matter what time of day it is, nor what day of the week it is, care is always available. I highly recommend LVVS!

I went to Dr. Campbell for my cat... I denied a treatment for dewormer and flea and tick treatment. As a conscious pet owner I felt that I had the right to deny what ever treatment I felt uncomfortable with. I simply explained that I wanted to look at other options... hearing this the doctor ranted for almost 10 minutes, used derogatory language with me, and disrespected my morals and values with condescending theories of how I planned to treat my cat. I am upset that she chose to lecture me and not guide me/help or hear my side of things. I'm not going back.

Years ago our Chocolate Lab passed while on our way to LVVS in an emergency situation. Totally devastated upon arrival there, my son (the owner) & I told the Vet what happened. Without hesitation he came out to our vehicle, picked up and cradled Oscar and whisked him away. I doubt I will ever forget that day, as he carried him out of sight. We could not have asked for more professionalism. LVVS handling the unexpected death of our precious dog was a lorry load lifted off our shoulders. They handled everything, which was a tremendous comfort to our family.
