Dr. Qaddafi operated on our 2 rabbits (1 spay and 1 neuter) with excellent care and experience. He handled them with care and was very thorough and professional in explaining the procedure and after care. It is difficult to find clinics to do this procedure on rabbits as they're considered "exotic" and the clinics that do it are expensive with a long list of "add-on" costs. This clinic also called back within 24 hours to check up on our rabbits and answer any questions. What a pleasant surprise! We highly recommend this clinic, Dr. Qaddafi and his staff. 10/10!

Victoria Street Animal hospital was so wonderful in helping save our cat when he swallowed string that had been left around for bracelet making. They walked us through the process of what they needed to do to save him and even took videos and photos to show us the extensive process it took to help him out. We are so incredibly grateful for their quick and diligent work to help save our "baby". Can't thank them enough.

Our cat had been profusely drooling for an entire day - enough to soak whatever he was sitting on. I called a vet in Sarnia, to which I was told they were not taking anymore patience and tried to get me to go to another one of their locations. After getting the run around, I called Victoria Street Animal Hosptial in Strathroy and they were more then helpful! I wasn’t sure if he had been there previously, so they looked him in the system and couldn’t find him. I became worried since I needed him to see someone. They told me that I could bring him in that day, even if he didn’t have an account. They would just make him an account once we got there. Upon arrival, they were extremely nice and helpful. The vet looked my cat’s mouth over, but couldn’t find anything that was causing the issue. They then gave him some medication to calm him down for the car ride home since he isn’t used to leaving the house. Overall, a great experience! We will be using Victoria Street Animal Hosptial again in the future!

We just returned from our first visit here for puppy booster vaccinations. We made the appointment a few weeks ago via their website, but had to call ourselves to confirm the appointment, since we had no confirmation (email or phone) of the appointment. While on the phone, my girlfriend went over each of the two puppies' records as to what vaccines they had already. Jenna quoted the price and we confirmed this for the shots. At this time, we were also assured that one person could go in with the pups for their appointment. We arrived for their appointment to find that no one could go inside with the puppies. I met Jenna at the door with the pups and she looked at the records for each. She mentioned that she was unsure of whether the one could get the Leptospirosis and Bordetella boosters at this time - her concern was that it may be too much all at once. I stated that I would let the vet make that judgement. There was no indication that the Leptospirosis and Bordetella boosters would affect the agreed price, I thought that they were included, since their records were discussed when the appointment was confirmed. Imagine our surprise when Jenna brought out our pups and the bill was 64% higher than the agreed price. Jenna attributed this to the "add-on" boosters needed for each dog and were not included in the agreed price (which they should have been since all of this information was discussed beforehand) She went inside again and printed out an itemized invoice showing how they got to the new total. At this point, we had no choice but to pay the inflated price. The dogs already had had the boosters. As for the ratings: Poor value: because the bill was much higher than was agreed to beforehand. Not responsive: because we had to initiate contact to confirm we even had an appointment. Not professional: all we have showing what was done is some checkmarks on the records. There is no receipt showing batch numbers of the shots, no rabies tag in their records and no vet's signature anywhere. We hope that this last part is just an oversight and they forgot to add the receipts to their folders.
