This is a great clinic. Dr Tait helped to make my highly anxious cat (and me, for him) feel comfortable about being in a strange place. She explained things clearly and thoroughly and didn’t push any services I was unsure about. Both Dr Tait and Chelsea in client care displayed a genuine love of animals that left me feeling like my pet is in very good hands. Also, very fast and thorough follow-up. Highly recommend.

Had a very good visit with Carey, who is new to the hospital, we have been going for over 11 years now. We have not always been happy with the way our appointments have gone. Although we were kept waiting, in the end she understood how we approached treatment, by conservation management with our Bella and did not try to over sell to us. Bella received excellent care, and is well on the road to recovering. We look forward to future visits with Carey and our senior girl.

Dr. Avery and staff take great care of our dog. They discuss treatment options, costs and benefits up front the to help us make informed decisions that work for our budget. Highly recommend.

I visited this hospital not under the best of circumstances as it turned out. My cat hadn't seemed like herself and I wanted her seen by a vet. I was able to book an appointment the next day and was seen by Dr.Avery (the owner). Long story short, my baby had advanced terminal cancer and I had to make the gut-wrenching decision to ease her suffering and put her to sleep. Every step of the way every person at that hospital was fantastic. I never felt pressured to make any decisions, Dr.Avery supported me with kindness and walked me through every step. Prices were laid out very plainly from the beginning for any tests and procedures and nothing unnecessary was done. She had a very peaceful passing, the staff at the front even putting out a candle and a sign asking for silence as someone was saying goodbye to their loved one. The cremation/memorial company they use (Pets above Ltd) was also amazing, caring and efficient. About a couple weeks later, I got a letter from the University of Guelph's Charity OVC Pet Trust saying they had received a donation from the doctors and staff at Leslieville Animal Hospital in tribute to her memory and I was so touched. It was a horrible situation that they helped to navigate with such care and empathy that I can't thank them enough. I fully recommend this hospital for any pet parents.

I have been taking my fur-baby to Dr. Avery at Leslieville A.H. for over 9 years now. She recently had a torn ACL and had surgery here also. The staff are so kind, accommodating and helpful. I have never felt pressured into procedures or tests, and really appreciate the level of detail and expertise provided here. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my baby, so I'm super happy I found this clinic, and would recommend them to anybody who is looking for the best care for their pet. I moved a year ago and am 45 minutes away now, but it is soooo worth it!
