I had a delightful experience at the North Toronto Veterinary Behaviour Specialty Clinic. Even though I was late for my puppy’s appointment due to traffic, the Veterinary Team accommodated our unexpected delay. Dr. Denenberg was very welcoming. He greeted us at the entrance and walked us out after our appointment. Both Dr. Denenberg and Lindsey were wonderful. They were able to break down complex scientific information into easily digestible chunks of knowledge. I walked into Dr. Denenberg’s office as a worried dog mom and walked out feeling empowered by the realistic 2-month plan customized to the needs of my anxious little puppy. Although treating behavioral issues in dogs is a long, complex process, Dr. Denenberg and Lindsey were able to be realistic with the information they provided while also being hopeful. They both ensured that we were comfortable during the appointment and even reassured us by saying that “There are no silly or stupid questions.”. The Veterinary Team is clearly highly skilled at providing person/pet-centered care. I could not have asked for a better vet or vet technician.

Dr. Denenberg was extremely helpful in resolving a case of redirected aggression between our two cats. His advise was useful and evidence-based. He also thoroughly answered our many questions between appointments. Highly recommended.

A complete waste of time and money! Over $800 down the drain. We should have listened to our vet, she was skeptical about Sagi Denenberg and warned us that he is seriously overhyped. She was right, we tried all his recommendations and no improvement in dog's behaviour whatsoever.

When we first adopted our dog, she was paralyzed by fear: she spent all day in the same corner of our bedroom, growling at us anytime we approached her, not allowing us to even take her for a walk, and eliminating indoors. After six months with minimal improvement, we reached out to Dr. Denenberg for help. During the initial assessment, he taught us how to better understand our dog's emotions and behaviours. He provided a comprehensive treatment plan that included both behavioural and pharmacological interventions. Since implementing this plan, we’ve noticed a marked change in our dog: she's much less anxious, she explores more of our apartment, she’s able to go on long walks, she plays very well with other dogs, and she eliminates exclusively outdoors. While our dog still has her quirks (what dog doesn't?), we’re thrilled with the progress she has made and the bond we've been able to establish with her. Thank you, Dr. Denenberg!

Dr. Sagi Denenberg saved our dogs life!! Our dog had been through 3 trainers, drugs from our vet and we were not able to curb his anxiety driven aggression. We were on our last straw when we went to him, and he was a blessing. He listened, he was super observant, he didn't judge us for having an aggressive dog, and he created a plan that actually worked! Now don't think this is a quick fix, it's not. We did countless hours of training, journaling/logging for over 1 yr. But he was accomidating and helped us along the way. 10/10 recommend (and have to at least 2 people). We now have a dog we trust and he experiences so much less stress in his life!
