Our cat was not feeling well and having issues urinating, so we took him to see Dr. Clara Bureau. Within a few minutes of being in the office, she was able to diagnose the problems. Dr. Bureau kept him overnight to give him fluids and to monitor his symptoms, and we took him home the next day with a few medications. After a few days, Watson was back to his usual self. Dr. Bureau even called to make sure he was doing well - we really appreciated that. Dr. Bureau was wonderful in explaining everything and she gave us recommendations on how to avoid future problems. All of her services were priced reasonably, especially for the quality of care Watson received. We highly recommend Dr. Bureau!

I was a patient here until I moved out of the Toronto area. Having worked at other clinics and the veterinary emergency clinic, I can say with confidence that, had I not moved out of the city, I would still be bringing my fur babies to Dr. Bureau. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly cares about the welfare of the animal over price of the appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bureau if you are looking for a respectable, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate Veterinarian.

We continue to have great care for our dogs from the vet, Dr. Bureau. She remains willing to listen to and answer questions. She responds to email questions and requests to order supplies. We recently had to euthanize our ill, elderly dogs, and Dr. Bureau was kind and respectful of us, and ensured that the procedure was as stress-free and painfree as possible for our pets. Fraser Macdonald Animal Hospital will continue to be our first choice for our vet.

Do not recommend. I know that animal medicine can be more of an art than a science at times given they are not able to tell us what's wrong, but I just want to warn others that I did not have a good experience with this clinic. I know they are not bad people, but I just think that there are better options. Despite expensive blood work and fecal analysis they were not able to come up with a reason or solution to my dog's digestive issues. Thankfully I declined having him admitted overnight which would have cost me $470 and surprise, he's fine. I was continually buying the digestive i/D food for a couple months and his issues lessened but were not solved. I managed to solve his digestive issues on my own with a suggestion from a PetValue employee... Attaching receipt for evidence this is not a "fraudulent review". Second photo is of my dog, healthy and well after a recent trip to his new vet.

Dr. Clara Bureau is the owner veterinarian at Fraser-MacDonald Animal Hospital at 1632 Bloor Street West. We have been clients of this veterinary clinic x 35 years and Dr. Bureau has been a wonderful vet caring for our two older dogs and my daughter’s young dog through the past few years. She is approachable and compassionate, and has been willing to explain and offer options for care for our pets. We have been given the opportunity to pursue all avenues of treatment, but have not been pressured to perform prohibitively expensive tests or treatments as part of our dogs’ treatment. She has made herself available for follow-up appointments and after-hours for emergencies and has been reachable by email or phone. Dr. Bureau has been regularly available for urgent appointments, and the clinic has parking, which is really helpful when trying to deal with a sick dog. We will continue to bring our pets to Dr. Bureau for care, and recommend her and Fraser-MacDonald Animal Hospital for providing excellent veterinary care for pets.
