Unprofessional.

We took our dog in on a Tuesday morning around 8:30am because she had difficulty breathing. After being admitted and checked, the vet told us that she had heart issues, potentially due to plaque build up on her teeth. They then put her on oxygen and sent us home to wait as they ran their tests. Around 1-2 hours later, the vet called and told us that she had an enlarged heart. However, the vet also said that her vitals were stable and that her blood cell count and kidneys were great. We were then told that she will be kept on oxygen until she stabilizes and then they will try to administer a specific heart medication. We were told that she would be kept on oxygen until the clinic’s closing time and if she hasn’t stabilized by then, she would be transported to the animal hospital. Around 11am, we got another call letting us know that she started bleeding from her nose and lungs because of the medication and that there was nothing else they can do and that we have to put her down. Great animal hospital. All staff are very compassionate, caring animal loving people. They truly care about every animal that cones thru the door. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the best care for their pet.

Friendly staff. Best physical my dog has ever had. Vet was very knowledgeable and took her time with us and our dog.

I arrived in the valley on Jan 1st. It was a 5 day drive to get here with my two cavaliers. After a couple days at a very good campground only a mile from this vet, I took both pets to the vet for a check up because they did not appear just right. After a check up, both dogs had issues. One had a tick infection, even with the monthly tick and flea treatment, and the other became diabetic. Wow, what a surprise. We were given a antibiotic for the tick infection and were given instruction for how to treat diabetes with insulin. It took several visits to determine the correct amount of insulin to give for treatment. Overall, over two months I paid over $2000.00 to get my dogs back on track. I give them credit for that. The bad thing each visit was quite expensive for supplies and only once did I get the same vet with all of these visits. Each vet had to relearn the systems and give their recommendations. All were a little different in instructions. Another big gripe I have is the mark up of their supplies. Online insulin is $38.00, at this vet it is $80.00. All of the many prescriptions that we received were marked up like that. My vet back home will match prices with online prices. Also a couple of days before leaving at our last visit, I asked for a small bag of a special diet food for one of my pets. Knowing that I needed a script for this food I asked for a bag and was told that they were out of this food. I then asked for a script so I could pick it up on our way home in two days. The person at the front desk went to the vet to sign the script and after 20 minutes came back and said that the vet did not have the time now to sign anything. I was not happy, I told her that after all I spent there and the doc didn’t have time to sign a script. I was told to come back later. Well later I was on the road back home and I was emailed a script on my phone to use if I needed it from my vet back home. I was quite dismayed over how they handled their customer service policy. Will do a better job at getting a recommended vet next time. Let me know if you run into any issues or questions. Be well.

Incredible service and care. A bit more expensive than other vets, but definitely worth the extra dollars for incredible care for my dogs. They call to check in with us when there are concerns. They are incredibly compassionate in times of loss.
