In the past, I have visited this branch on several occasions and the level of service was good. On this occasion I was shouted at by the receptionist when I called to make an enquiry. On complaining to the practice manager she was complete uninterested. This experience has completely ruined my confidence in Vets4Pets. You employ staff that are unbelievably aggressive and I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the manner in which my complaint was handled.

Dr Rachel at Vets4Pets is a wonderful vet! She takes care of my pet bird and shows great knowledge, understanding and compassion. She is kind and makes us feel like valued friends and patients :)

I took a not even 3 kilos dog because he had rolled in the grass and got seeds all over him, and seemed to be upset about his ears after I removed all the seeds. They tried to look into his ear but he was moving so I was told they couldn’t look at it and he needed to be sedated but that wasn’t going to work, so he needed to have anaesthetic and a tube inside his throat to breathe for them to be able to check him. I was then explained that they didn’t know what was exactly wrong, it could be perforated eardrum or a seed stuck on his ear and right after that proceeded to explain prizes to me while I was still in shock. I ended up refusing to sign for him to go through all that without testing less worst case scenarios like an ear infection. Then they changed the consultation (I saw in the invoice) for Standard Health Assessment OKR, which was more expensive, just because she finally looked around his mouth and body for more seeds before I left. Today, almost 10 days after the visit, he hasn’t been around the park with seeds again and I’ve been giving him the treatment they told me... I was checking his mouth because it started smelling yesterday, and I found a seed stuck on it right at the front. How could she not see that? Not only am I disappointed of the service but to feel that they put him in danger twice because of negligence (I spoke with my vet back home and he said you should never put a dog this small under anaesthetic especially without explaining to me the after effects it could have). I am never coming back again but I really hope they rethink they priorities, I never thought I’ll see a doctor care more about money than the well being of the dog.

We've been here for our puppy's vaccinations and it was fine - nothing bad happened but also weren't blown away or would feel confident in the advice. I wouldn't rate the customer service as high and the team seem very pressured and time concerned. I would recommend enforcement of a cat and dog section since there are two waiting areas and that cats are put on seats as it's a very stressful environment for them being in a pet shop too. Fortunately, I'm a vet nurse so am aware of all the necessary puppy information I needed, but if a new owner I wouldn't have gotten the info I needed from first visits to the vet. Not asked about neutering or explained flea/worm protocol.

I've been dealing a lot with them because my dog has a cancer. They are very friendly and my dog is now always welcomed, a lot of cuddles. The only problem is you often find a different vet and even if they write everything down for the next vet to pick up, it's not the same. I'd prefer my pets to be visited always by the same person and not every time meet a different one.
