They stopped responding to my emails about possible treatments for my cat. I guess because they weren't getting money for providing advice. Do feel like they like they to sell you more things than you need so can understand the salesman label. Don't think I'll go back.

I’ve been trying to find out for the last 3 years why my cat has a red patch on her skin every few months (pic attached) and the vets at this Branch have no idea. All they want is for me to come in and get it checked so they can bill me. The last time, one year ago exactly I refused to go in and emailed them a picture and the vet was unsure and suggested that my indoor cat needs to get spayed so we did. Now my cat has the same problem. I would have thought that a vet should recognise a reoccurring skin problem in cats.

Truly terrible experience. Our cat, Oliver, was brought in for an abscess on his paw and a vet named Gabi told us that he needed to be sedated for minor surgery. The cost was approximately £440. Oliver has been in many fights before and this was the first time we were told he needed surgery. Usually, he receives a course of antibiotics and (sometimes) painkillers. We hesitated and Gabi started to describe in vivid detail the possible deformities, suffering, and infections that Oliver will endure if we choose not to proceed. We declined the surgery and Gabi started negotiating the price. We insisted on just the course of antibiotics and painkillers as we decided to wait for the return of our regular vet (who was on holiday). After the shots, Gabi asked what flea treatment we used. We couldn't remember the brand but he assured us that it was the wrong one and that we should purchase the correct one from him. We ended up paying nearly double the price for the antibiotics and painkillers than we normally do. The entire experience left us feeling as if we were negotiating the price of a new car and that the health of Oliver was of no great concern. While Gabi was friendly, he gave us the impression of being an exuberant salesman rather than a professional vet. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Great customer service -- the assistant is helpful and nice to the customers, answers all the questions. My pet is very well looked after by the vet and gets the best possible care. The vet explains everything, answers all questions thoroughly, provides additional advice. The vet is extremely good with my pet, so much so, the my pet has no problems with coming out of their carrierbag when it's time for the exam. Overall the visits are pleasant (as they can be with a sick pet), I feel my pet gets the best possible care.

Very poor care. They do not care for animals they only care for money. Never try get them to see your pet on emergency and short of funds they have NO sympathy what so ever they do not care for personal circumstances infact your made to feel inferior or worthless when explaining a delicate situation. I was treated like scum. Vet told me to give my dog parocetomal even though it's proven to be TOXIC to dogs even in small doses. Called rspca for second opinion they was VERY AGAINST IT. Receptionist is extremely cold no sympathy or kindness in her eyes or tone the vet did kindly waver the consultation fee as he did REFUSE to treat or even look at my pups ailment however on being told the receptionist then laughed and discussed me with other patients as I walked out devastated and in tears. If you want people that actually CARE for animals avoid here at all COSTS (pun intended) in all seriousness though do not give these people your money. I do advise MediVet to investigate their receptionist though someone so cold should not hold that position when some owners like myself are distraught it would be nice to see kind eyes and genuine concern not cold eyes harsh tone and all about money.
