The staff at the emergency vet in Streatham are amazing. We've brought our cat here a couple of times (unfortunately!). The staff are always calming, reassuring but efficient, and have never failed to stabilise our cat and get him through whatever emergency it is. We had to visit this weekend, and Lucas, Davide, Jess and everyone else who was working this weekend - thank you so much! We had a real emergency and now our cat is at home relaxing thanks to the care of these fantastic vets and nurses. They gave us regular updates, let us come and visit before an overnight stay, gave our cat plenty of attention overnight to keep him calm, gave us some special food to take home to make sure he ate, and made sure we were kept informed throughout. We could not be more grateful, and feel very lucky to have such amazing support just up the road. I hope you never have to use this clinic, but if you do, you will be in great hands.

DO NOT GO HERE We brought our dog in after she was unable to walk suddenly on a Saturday morning. After £900 worth of x-rays and tests, we were very harshly told that our dog was riddled with cancer and was unhappy and basically told us we were bad people for not putting her down right away. They told us there were surgery options but she wouldn't survive the surgery due to her old age and her bone cancer. We were told we should put her down within the next couple of days, and were sent away with pain medication that we couldn't give to our dog because it needed to be taken with food and she couldn't eat. We brought her home and she got progressively worse through the day so we took her to another vet who looked at the rays from the morning and said that our dog had an infection in her womb, and likely no cancer- he did say that had we not brought her in the infection would have likely killed her overnight. He performed an emergency surgery right away and the next day our dog has a new lease on life. That was a couple months ago- she now has a clean bill of health and is happier than she's been for a while. If we had listened to the people at South London Emergency & Referral Clinic, our dog would have likely died that day from something preventable, or we would have put her to sleep based on their incorrect and very harsh assessments. I strongly recommend against taking your pets here.

Staff have always been so lovely and helpful and kept me calm when I've been stressed with my rabbit Bella. They have given me wonderful support over the phone and I thank them for all their time and information, in particular Nathalie. Also Dr Lukasz Rauk is amazing! Thank you

We brought two of our cats here and got excellent treatment. The vet was amazing and professional and made sure our regular vets were updated to continue the treatment plan the next day. Couldn't ask for more.
