Oh man, so many concerns about this hospital. The vet is so self-righteous. The vet puts on the appearance of caring and concern for our dog, but it is obvious that her actions are motivated by money. The vet was constantly suggesting we bring the dog in for a follow-up to make sure everything was "fine" when simply asking us about how our dog was doing would suffice. Our dog is like our child, we love her and care for her, we know when something is wrong. Why not just ask us? Why suggest she come in and then charge us for said check-up when the "treatment" was working? The clinic also withheld our dogs medical history. We tried to get it from the staff but they kept spouting claims of "we can't give you your dogs history for liability reasons" and "only the vet can release this information." We then called the College of Veterinarians of Ontario and confirmed with them that vets must release our pets medical history to us, sure, they can charge us some administration fee, but they have no right to hold it or make such bogus claims about liability. Since the staff wouldn't give us our dogs medical history until the vet came in I asked them to just have the vet email it to us and told them that we did NOT want to speak to the vet. Of course, they didn't respect our wishes and the vet called us and attacked US because we were telling the staff the facts given by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. It seemed like the vet was putting on a self-righteous show for her staff. Our dog has a problem with one of her tear ducts, it doesn't produce tears. Our previous vet gave us some specific medication to deal with this problem. After coming to rogue river, the vet changed the medication. We purchased some from them but the vet told us we can pick-up this medication from shoppers drug mart. In March of 2017 we told them what shoppers told us, that this product was discontinued by the manufacturer. The vet did not believe our claims and for 4 months kept disagreeing with us and telling us that we were wrong. Then when we finally got our medical history from our dog we noticed a discrepancy in the file. It claimed that in March of 2017 they noted that the product was discontinued. So they kept pushing us to get a product that they knew was discontinued or they edited the file to show this afterwards? There are many discrepancies in the medical history, notes that suggest the vet was telling us how to administer our dogs medication, when in reality she didn't tell us these things in person. We followed the instructions given to us by our previous vet.

Best vet ever. My cats have special needs and we are confident that they are getting the best care possible. Friendly staff and lovely office too!

Friendly staff but the dr. couldn't figure out the problem at all... she charged me so much...

Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Worst vet ever! Making irresponsible judgement by just looking at your pet for 5 seconds.

Friendly staff & veterinarian, good atmosphere and sound advice. Really all the things that matter for a vet. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
