The staff is very compassionate, if a little slow to acknowledge you're there. Place needs updating but service is good. Prices are great.

I have been very happy with the service from the clinic. They are very friendly and the vets are very nice. In a lot of the other reviews people are complaining about different vets there every so often. When you take your pet to a walk in clinic you are going to see a different vet sometimes and that's just the way it goes. Walk in clinics for people is the same way. I am very please with them and I will be returning. Thanks so much for taking care of Bogey for me.

*Update/FYI* The weekend hours has changed, they now close at 7PM on weekends, not 9PM, but the management bought a storefront near Bellamy that opens till 9PM, the place is called Bellamy-Lawrence Animal Clinic I bring my cats here when they need their regular shots and whatnot, I’d say for regular checkup and shots it’s a decent enough place to go to. Since I usually go just for prescription food for my cats, my main complain about them is their antiquated billing/payment system, it takes them forever just to write up an invoice. My experience with one of the doctors who used to work there was really good, but he left, and the other two doctors my cats saw made me feel like they don’t really take the time in answering my concerns and one of them made me felt like he wasn’t even good in handling my cat, almost as if he was scared of holding my cat to the back to retrieve a urine sample, it made me felt like he wasn’t confident in what he does. So my suggestion is to look somewhere else if you like to be able to better communicate your concerns about your pet to the doctor.

My mother has been here numerous of times for different illnesses and eventually you see a pattern in their practice that I don't agree with. I found that their main goal here is to suck as much money out of soft hearted pet owners. Their exam fee is definitely the lowest among vets in Toronto. That is what drew my mother to come here initially. But She later found out why it so low... She has never left with just the exam fee. They are up-selling and using fear/love as a tactic. A quick google search shows that it is apparently quite common for vets to do this because demand for vets are decreasing due to increasing number of vet practices. Thus, they turn to up-selling to get more out of each customer. This is one of those places. Looking back, I think a lot of the tests She paid for was not needed. You also tend to leave the place with uncertainties, fear, and worry. Me and my mother and all my family will not coming back here again EVER and I recommend you to do the same.
