They have a good variety of fish and accessories for a small town they know what they are talking about and can order in special fish for if need be, only complate is their not very helpful when you get there. They seem to leave you when you just have a question overall( good place to get fish)

Staff has great knowledge of how to take care of different illnesses in fish. I have noticed sometimes the fish have been sick in their store though. But normally have good luck with their fish. Would still recommend Rick's!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for but the lady that was working (very nice) was more than happy to suggest other options available.

On 29 Dec 18 I purchased frozen raw dog food expecting that our visit to Pembroke would be until mid-Jan. Due to family issues in Halifax we had to depart late 3 Jan. Rick’s would NOT refund the purchase as ‘store policy’ cites only a credit could be given. I pointed out that a credit is of no value to me in Halifax. Management and the owner refused to extend consideration or compassion , and despite promises that someone would call me back I had to call several times. Sadly, the owner didn’t have the courage or integrity to contact me directly. The people I spoke with were uncaring leaving me with the impression that once they had my money customer service/ satisfaction is not a priority and taking advantage of a Maritimer is something to be proud of - after all it is “store policy”! Shameful.
