The staff and Veterinarians have all been amazing. Always very kind and informative. I've taken my pet there since he was 10 weeks old, all the way through his first year. They cared about my pet and made me feel comfortable, knowing hes receiving the best care possible.

After a very positive experience in NC with Banfield, I decided to re enroll. I took my Boxer for the comprehensive examination. When I returned to pick her up, I paid the bill and was told thank you. I had to ask for the receipt (I keep all copies), plus asked for a copy of the comprehensive review and was sent on my way. When I reviewed everything in the car they failed to trim nails as requested, and after asking twice still failed to change the hospital of record. The comprehensive exam print out had some anomalies with her blood work; however, I was never given an opportunity to speak with the doctor, first time ever after being to a vet. I completed the survey with my concerns, received a call from and she Dr. Richmond left a message. Repeated return calls from me and promises to return my call, I still have not received a return call and still have no one to explain the anomalies with her blood work. I am going to a different Banfield with an attempt to have the comprehensive exam results explained to me. I would recommend you look for a different vet provider (Banfield) and not this office.

Been using Banfield pet hospital, Utica for over a decade, I've always been treated right and my dog is always taken good care of. Good pricing also, love the pet health insurance plans they offer.

They offer a monthly "insurance style" plan for cats and dogs! Very beneficial if you have a pet with health problems or an oldie who keeps chugging along!

Worst Pet Hospital ever. Cannot handle cats. Do not know how to deal with pets. Dr. Verstraete did not even touch my cat during physical checkup and declared that she is good. Front desk lady’s words upon complaining, “well, we don’t want to get our doctors in jeopardy by treating your cats.” What are the doctors for then if they cannot treat cats well during checkup. Complete disappointment. My cats have gone through a lot. Cancelling my membership with them. Michigan Humane Society have better doctors and know how to treat pets.
