My two dogs receive the best of care here. And we don't need an appointment. Terrific bed side manner with the vet. They take time to explain what's going on.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. We boarded our German shepard pup for 3 days (they charged us for 4) and she lost 7lbs! They claim she was stressed from the other dogs (our dog has no issues with other dogs whatsoever), the woman who works in back tried to tell us that our dog "charged the cage and began barking at her" and that we should be careful because she's a German. Not only did she stigmatize our dog but basically tried to tell us she was aggressive when she is not! When they were fetching our paperwork, another woman beside us said they called her and told her that her dog was stressed too and had diarrhea! And that wasn't even the worst part, we were lead back to the kennels (more like jail cells) and our poor dog was laying in her own urine! When she opened the cage door our dog was clearly frightened and what broke our hearts the most was that our baby girl didn't even recognize us. Once the woman left the kennels to get her collar (because they removed it and misplaced it), our girl popped back to her usual excitable self but fell back in stress when the woman came back. We are currently driving home with her and she has not stopped whining since we left. I am so angry and appalled by this whole thing and regret ever bringing our girl there. If you love your fur baby DO NOT bring them to Gasow to have them boarded!!

The vets at Gasow have always taken great care of my pup. The extended hours are essential for my family.

I hate naming names, but Barb at the front desk needs to retire or find another profession that doesn't require customer service. Whether it is in person or on the phone, she is rude and unpleasant to speak with. We have been bringing our dogs to Gasow for over 16 years now and if it weren't for the great vets or vet techs we would have stopped using their services after our first visit. The owner needs to have a serious conversation with her on her attitude.
